Cthulhu Statue based on Lovecraft original sketches

I few weeks back I noticed that zombiequadrille (Joe Broers) on Deviantart sells a Cthulhu statue based in the Lovecraft's original drawings of the small idol in the story Call Of Cthulhu. There are many Cthuhlu idols out there that are cool/hideous -- Nick Daring's here on RPF is definitely worth a look.

But I was happy to see one based on the HPL's sketches. Here's his promo sheet to describe the drawings and his build.


And as Nick Darings 2nd run is taking a while, I had to get this one as a temporary fix. I'm glad I did, it's quite a beauty.

The color is a dull gold with a distinct greenish tinge which the pix don't really capture -- like this

Here's his deviantart page has a link to his stff and here's a link to the page for just the sculpt .and how to purchase. He has a lot of mythos stuff and is definitely worth a look.

He also has a smaller version of this sculpt which I'm considering just so I can have one on my desk at work.
