Cool Ray Gun Toy

Picked this up for my 3yr old over x-mas, not bad for 10 bucks! I have ended up playing with it more than my son. The lights are super cool in person. Was thinking this could be a cool custom with a different paint job.

I bought something very similar to this last month. I did think about modding it, but the more I looked at it, the more I felt that it was almost perfect as it is.

First thing I thought of was golden era Flash Gordon! Especially Holluba's black one; it would look great repainted brass!
