I am soooo excited at how this seems to be picking up
the pace every day. It looks fantastic so far mate.
cant wait to see this thing in brass.

Quick question, will there be the triple box graphics
on the back side by the hinges as well? OR just on the
face side with the wording?

we are doing the movie version, the one in the featurette seems to be a proto and has additional holes and the lines on the hinge side are missing, also the screws are different. We will use the correct screws, no additional holes and we will do lines on the hinge side.

oh, forgot, in case you think the engravings are too deep, that is intentional. Cast brass has a rough surface and needs to be sanded and polished. By making the engravings about twice as deep as desired, they will have the right depth after sanding and polishing.

Awesome. I wasnt worried about the depth, I figured it had to do with finishing
of the lighter or something to that effect. All in all man it is looking great and
I look forward to seeing this finished.

Excellent thinking.

I haven't read the entire thread but was wondering if the guy who made the brass knuckles will be machining these lighters as well?

Come on Marc, you need to move faster, you dont see me spending months sitting on a project. Oh wait, never mind.
