You've almost successfully got me to puke while watching.

Between the Custard scene, the lawnmower attack and the giant old disgusting naked zombie lady, you've got me almost there.

And I thought some parts of Evil Dead were bad

:sick

lol. I remember seeing this on VHS back in the 90s after everyone at school was talking about it.

I love that movie! It's a shame that Peter Jackson doesn't make movies like Braindead or Bad Taste anymore. I love Lord of the Rings and I'm sure the Hobbit will also be great, but man ... I want more splatter comedies from him :lol

I never found this movie anything but hilarious. I loaned it to a friend who watched it xmas eve while eating and wrapping presents and threw up all over stuff. My wife also almost lost her lunch watching it.

It is one of my favorite movies and my favorite zombie movie. I want to go as the kung fu priest for Halloween one year.

"Story goes, these great big rats come scuttling off the slave ships and raped all the little tree monkeys. The natives use them in black magic rituals. Don't ask me how, probably suck the blood of virgins, eh, eh? "

"No one will ever love you like your mother."

Sing guy Ah! You've got...the bite!

One of my favs...saw it in the theater, when it first came out. Crowd was rowdy as heck! Probably the best experience at a movie theater I ever had.

it made me throw up too. after i reached that point i was in it to watch that lawn mower scene and be done with it. i was totally unimpressed with this movie, considering all that id heard about it was great things.

i like a movie that does not rely on shock factor and over the top gore to pretend to tell a story. its definitely not his greatest work.

A classic! Just found it on Dvd awhile back, but no extras. It was a great gore movie, but nothing like the ******* movies, as far as puke value......

True, I've seen almost every episode of ******* and saw all the movies, their latest one being the worst. I was able to sit through most parts alright, but that poor cameraman kept puking himself.

In all honesty I sometimes get hungry watching zombie flicks. This movie though is just disgusting on too many levels

I had to pause several times for breaks to avoid puking... particularly the custard scene.

Also, I'm pretty sure that this movie holds the record for "Most fake blood used in a film" :D

This flick was awesome! I love that it is totally Raimi-inspired, being a huge Raimi fan. But Jackson may have one upped Sam on this one! He cranked the gore up to 11 and made a kickass epic!

I always wanted to see Lionel again! Maybe a sequel with he and Paquita's child? And the return of Baby Selwyn!!

Ah, man, Brain Dead was the second movie I saw with muh sweetheart when we were dating. The first was 'Delicatessen'. She thought I was a bit strange, for a while, I think. :p

That lawnmower scene, and the kung-fu priest, and the huge grotesque zombie mum; I just kill myself laughing every time. It's as good as the "I'm born again!" or sheep/rocket-launcher scenes in Bad Taste. (Still think that's Jackson's most quotable film. "There's no glowing fingers on these bastards!" - every line is golden.)

Pre-Hollywood Jackson at it's finest. I saw this in a theater at a 24 hour horror marathin in the early 90s....it was the highlight of the marathon.

Bad Taste was great...the punch bowl scene...disgusting. ans don't forget "Meet the Feebles."
