I do not think so but I could wrong. It appears that Jan 07 was the last time the Chatta Con website was updated but I had not heard of it being absorbed. I would love it if Peter David was going to be at Con Nooga!:thumbsup

I hope that ChattaCon doesn't become Connogga.... ChattaCon was cool with lots of free beer, it doesn't look like Connogga has anything like that...

Chattacon has *not* been absorbed by this first-time convention, and is still scheduled for the last weekend in January, with a nice roster of notable guests...

I think I'll be heading to Chattanooga in January. I have no interest in the other one.

I am right there with you. Room parties and free beer what more can you ask for. Chatta Con is a nice con.

Con Nooga will have room parties also.

We will also be designating a "Party Floor" for those Con Nooga Party Throwers that decide to come. If you are a "Party Room" you will have to register w/ the Con Nooga Staff or have the possibility of being 'shut-down'. ROOM PARTIES will have some designated times and rules.

All the party rooms will be within one section of the Hotel to allow our other guest the chance to escape the late night nonstop fun activities.

I am going to see/meet everyone. Can't help you with the free beer as this is the first year but I am sure it will be flowing.

So if say I wanted to get a room, a party room... would I have to ask for this when I make my rez with the hotel? How does that work?

Interesting. We thought about hitting ChattaCon next year. Not sure how a contingent from the Alabama Garrison would do with "party rooms" at ConNooga, though. That could be dangerous... :lol
