Dude that looks ultra-sweet. Great job man. You have represented the many and proud fellow Red Hoods. Just want you to know that is my opinion and I am sticking to it. :coolWith 24 hours to spare, it is done. Sorry the photos are such poor quality, but all I have to work with is a camera phone

This looks Awesome! I am doing my First Ever Build as Red Hood New 52 and am in the waiting on stuff to arrive and planning stages for my armor. I have some Back ups in place just in case my custom armor doesn't work out but after seeing your armor I plan on doing a similar concept of your overlapping and only doing the chest and core not attempting to do the sides like i had originally planned(probably trying to do to much for my first time). Great work and it has really helped me have a better idea of what I am trying to accomplish. Cant wait to see what you do next.

I need an opinion on the under the hood incase I decide to go without out it. I got the idea from watching Arrow, but would the grease look over the eyes be too off base?

I can't imagine why it would be. It could just be your interpretation of the character. From what I've seen, Jason Todd wears his Robin domino mask underneath the hood in the older versions of the costume, and does not wear the mask in the New 52 version. So if your version wears grease paint over his eyes, I think it would look natural/appropriate enough for the character.
