Helmets' looking good.

Now you used just that "elmers glue all"? How solid is it?
I might want to make some Army of Two shoulder pads...do you think it will hold up for a costume worn by an adult for hours on end and for a month of use?

I use a mixture of "Elmer's glue and white silicon caulking/ water" the caulking is flexable for a while then hardens quite nicely. "also can use the caulking to fill in any gaps along the way."
I think it will do just fine, you will most likely have to touch up paint it once and a while but it should do just fine. I wouldn't recommend foam armor for an adult. This is just going to be something My son will whear a few times and grow out of it. The Bucket on the other hand will last for years until his head gets to big.

I'd recomend liquid latex on foam parts, bonds better with the foam, i mix the colour into the latex then paint on a few good coats, just an idea

Youre welcome
I used it on my sons pred suit and on the terminator, it makes everything more durable, you can brush it on then smooth over with a sponge to remove brush marks if needed.

For the adult costume, I'm just making shoulder guards and a neck protector, Army of two style...probably back with with industrial velcro and attach it to a military vest.
But thanks for the tips guys, keep up the good work.

Made his Gauntlets last night...


Those are earth magnets to lock together... used the foamie as the hinge...

Completed!

Getting it smooth is a pain, & it's still not as smooth as I would like it. You just use a smoothing tool water or a few different techniques.

actually....

I had all the pieces and started gluing and when I was done it was a bit to late to change them back and I don't really care as he will only wear them a few times and out grow/destroy them...
