Community - dungeons & dragons episode

I just finished watching this episode. I gotta say I find Community episodes hit and miss. But this one I thought was brilliant. I'm really starting to love this show. And they finally found a perfect way to use Chevy Chase in a story.

I've never played Dungeons And Dragons, (how did THAT happen? I'm certainly geeky enough) but this episode quickly and simply demonstrated how the game is played. The jokes were terrific. There's even some heart to this particular episode.

I'm so glad this show exists, if for nothing else, as counterpoint to all the "young couples" sitcoms (FRIENDS ripoffs) that are souless and lame. COMMUNITY is trying to do different, genre-bending work.

I love this show and thought this episode was up there with it's paintball ep and recent halloween one. It was great. The only annoying thing is having to find something to watch between 830 and 9. Perfect Couples is just awful.

Yeah, I don't see Perfect Couples lasting.

Last night was the first time my girlfriend watched Community, in fact she never heard of it. :confused She was into it.

I love this show. I also love Big Bang Theory. SOMEONE at the network was a real moron -- virtually guaranteeing a split of their prime demographic.
