i went to take a drink, but missed the straw and feared i would poke myself in the eye. THATS the look of "wtf happened to the straw that i thought was in my drink?"

great photos jason..thx.
Ramsi's Café | Menu for ideas to try at home. had the thai inspired paella (hard to turn that down each time i see it) - what did you end up having? portions are healthy too (think only half of us finished our food).

never noticed, but from certain angles, it looked like your escape pod was going to crash into my kits.

you mentioned ocean's six...however i keep think'g of the music when you see the reservoir dogs coming down the street.

still have a little buzz (just from the whole experience) from this weekend. doubt this will get topped for a while.

Cool Pictures. Thanks for sharing.
It looks like you guys are suffering a lot at wonderfest, or in other words are having a hell of a time ...

Great time! Loved hearing Lorne talk about his time with ILM. And enjoyed the "how to" I attended by Paul Francis. I went on Sunday and it really seemed like there was less attendees and dealers. Anyone else feel this way?

i enjoyed wonderfest as well.. i was there with my turret and halo suit... i enjoyed messing with everyone...

I had an incredible time as well. Jason seriously busted it preparing for, curating and setting up the Studio Scale Modeling display, which was really well-attended, and it was cool that other builds kept getting added to the tables day by day. Lorne and Pat graciously spent a good chunk of Sunday morning hanging out there with us geeking out, asking questions and patiently answering loads more.

As great as all of that was, it was even better to meet so many of the talented, kind, funny people behind the screen names and avatars, not to mention some of my all-time favorite kits and buildups. You guys made me feel right at home at my first 'fest.

And Q, thanks again for pulling double duty working Wonderfest while playing host to all of us swaggering nerds. I enjoyed our excursions as much as anything else.

Will post up some pics later...

Couldn't have said it better myself. I felt like I was at a reunion, and I can't believe I never made it to WF before now. I went this year to see old friends face to face and also meet some new ones. It was all about the people, and it was an awesome time.

You folks are not only an incredibly talented bunch, you're also some of the nicest guys I have ever met. It was a privilege hanging out with all of you that weekend and I had a fantastic time. For me, I hope this will be just the first of many WF weekends to come. . .

Did totally realize it was her. Was at the airport waiting for my sister in law and the wife recognised a guy from wf. About five minutes before the sister popped up, the wf guy walked over to a small group of. Woman. I assked a buddy of mine if it was her. I'm pretty sure it was.

Yes, that was definitely her. :love

I started a thread on building Stella's laser rifle from Starcrash so I could get her to sign it at the show:

I did enter the RTF Eagle kit-bash ship -- horrible paint job, I know. Did I mention that Caroline Munro signed my gun? :)

I want to thank you guys for including me and my star destroyer build (in progress) in your group. Besides Charles, I didn't know anyone, yet you all made me feel like you were my long lost brothers. I had such a wonderful time meeting all of you, and spending time with Lorne and Pat was something I'll never forget.

Q - You're a class act. Thanks for all you did to make the weekend so much more amazing.

J - My fellow graphics guy. If you ever give up designing you can make it as a comedian! Thanks for the laughs.

S - I enjoyed talking with you at the restaurant. You and I have so much in common, no wonder we seem to click instantly.

K - Gotta love your enthusiasm for all things X-wing. I understand that, 'cause I've got that fever for SD's. Thanks for shooting pictures of one of the high points of my career as an artist.

M - I'm so glad I finally got to meet you in person. You came through for me in a big way on the film, and I was thrilled to be able to screen the scenes and credits for you and the rest of the group.

C - Bro, we'll be talking about this trip for a long time.

Rick

Thanks you for your sharing Jason, Kevin and friends :)

Jason,

I'm celebrate that you are appointed as knight by Lorne.
However I'm wondering whether you are Jedi? :lol

If I can get any chance, I would like to atten there too in the next time.
