I like the theme of a universal predator invasion, that is kind of the way I was thinking about this. Predators are dropping into locations worldwide at one time and are going to basically take over the planet.

How would this documentary idea work out for a Predator who's out on the hunt, but not actively killing something in the video? I mentioned several posts ago that I wanted to have myself filmed hunting around some long-abandoned buildings at a World War II-era ammunition factory. How could I come up with a story line, or a snippet of a story line, that involves a Predator on the hunt without actually doing battle with aliens or humans?

Or, maybe the individual videos are going to be short enough that I don't need a narrative, and I can just be on the hunt while someone else does a voiceover or some sort of explanation.

What do you guys think?

The more I see this and think about it, the more pumped I'm getting [better get myself working, my suits only 10% complete. lol]. I really like the whole planet wide invasion and the different films from various members around the world could be little excerpts of a much larger picture. The next part is just me writing what's on my mind, as a little "twist" in the story plot of a "world invasion".

The world invasion is set by a large clan of traditional predators that follow an honor and hunting code, much like P1 and P2 did. The elders strategically place different level sub-clans around the world. They may send in a team of three or more into a larger city and only a two pred team into a smaller city. For the first few days, the hunts were pretty easy going and the predators had little exhausted little effort against the humans. Although this is going very well for the Predators, it's very uncommon to conduct a hunt on such a grand scale...this is very seldom done in their world. Since the hunt is so large in scale, it draws in a threat to the hunt. Another Predator clan of equal sized. Now you have two clans fighting for the same hunt. But this is not your traditional clan. It's not a "bad blood" clan, but a "dark blood clan". This clan is formed from Predators that took the hunt to extremes that were looked down upon as "not honorable". They had different means of hunting, tracking, and killing their prey...and anything was fair game. The only code they lived by was that the strongest survives...and to survive, you must do whatever it takes to kill on the hunt. They hunted anything and everything, even their same species, because they saw other Predators as the ultimate Prey. Now with a twist, you have the humans trying to defend their home planet from an invading hunter...and the hunting is trying to survive from a new threat that hunts both humans and predators.

It just popped in my head...so I thought it wouldn't hurt to write it down. Now back to hurry up on my suit build!

One answer to that could be security cameras. Security cameras could have been placed/installed throughout the retired plant years before our predator invasion. Lets say these old buildings tend to attract the more questionable characters in society, wayward teens, derelicts, druggies..etc. The cameras could have been set up to catch theses guys in order to slap them with tresspassing fines or something. I'm sure such buildings are still " off limits " even if they are shut down.
Perhaps instead of capturing trespassers, the cameras captures predator activity? Cameras could have also have been installed to capture surveillane of the area outside the plant too...that way your hunting activity in the area can be filmed. And whose to say that whoever is in charge of checking the camera footage isn' t blown away but what he sees and sets up more cameras? The possibilities are endless

Indeed, in real life there are security and surveillance cameras everywhere. One can't step behind a tree to take a leak without having half a dozen cameras on you.

I think the idea of security camera footage would work quite nicely.

Anyone here have drawing skills To storyboard my ideas.

I gave my own rough draft storyboards drawn out on cell sheets. I also wrote down a script scene by scene. I want to have some nice sketches of the final product before I move onto the next stage.

Yes! I like this, I have actually considered such a scenario...Someone capturing the outline of a cloaked predator and thinking it's a ghost. Hahahaha, ghost busters can't handle this case though...hehehe
