collection showoff! - Video Tour - last page

So great! Are those the Moebius Viper models?

Hmm - I honestly don't know - I got the mark 1 and mark 2 colonial vipers off ebay back (according to my records) in 2008-9.

More pictures as I dig through my computer - completely out of order. You'll see some stuff repeated as I've moved stuff around over the years, but I've never sold anything so it's all still there somewhere.

I was bored - kids were upstairs being phone zombies, so I decided to just do a quick walkthrough of part of my prop room. After almost 20 years on the RPF, I've amassed quite a bit. I've never sold anything so as you can tell space is becoming a problem (especially since my kids school projects and things are starting to invade my basement). I hardly have time to go down there nowadays and tidy up so things have gotten a bit dusty, and cluttered with real life stuff. Please excuse the mess/dust.

I've always tried to collect the best works from members here on the RPF, it's been SO much fun. Aside from collecting, I don't make or sell anything. I do have some experience customizing things and just being "handy" as a lot of these props require maintenance. I apologize for not being able to remember everyone's screenname to shout out on the fly, or get to talk about everything down there in detail....but thank you all for all your hard work, and dedication to the prop world. You've help kept me sane, and happy for nearly 2 decades. Feel free to shout out on this thread if you've made something here and want the props for it... you deserve it. I do have more detailed information on specific items on my computer if anyone needs to know where I got something or if they want more details on something that they saw in the background.

Another video will probably follow shortly with the other half (and even messier) part of the basement. I'll try and remember to take out my invisiline on the next go so I don't sound like a member of the house of slytherin.

Fantastic collection!!! Can’t wait for more video tours.

Here's part 2
I couldn't go through everything - just highlighted a few things...but again, if you need more info on something, I'd be happy to share where I got something from.

Update?????
Goodness... I've been so busy, I haven't even been down to my own basement. Kids are growing up, One is going to high school . Seems like only yesterday, I was posting pics of them being born on this thread.

Not even sure where I left off. I've picked up a few things here and there. I'll try to touch on a few of them, but I haven't found final places for any of them as I just don't have time to rearrange everything..

As you guys know, I'm a huge Airwolf fan, so I decided it would be cool to build an Airwolf flight stick. I got a real, vintage, flight yoke from a helicopter. Surprisingly difficult to find the exact one with the right red buttons, but the yoke itself is very common and did a really quick/sloppy paint job and added some vinyl stickers..

I also got this cool A-wing model diorama. They're not studio scale, but it's very cool to have the concept and the "as seen on screen" A-wing together.

As I recall - these are 1/72 - the size difference is incredible compared to the studio scale A-wing I have in my collection..

Oh - I also got a 1/650 enterprise G. I posted that thread up in the studio scale section so I won't bore everyone with the description. That link can be found here: 1/650 scale Star Trek Enterprise G more pictures can be found in the SS thread.

And I went on a bit of a Flight of the Navigator kick and made myself a diorama. I 3d printed files that I found, I believe, on the RPF and spray painted them chrome. The chrome paint was a real pain to work with....

Life is kind of a blur now... but if I think of more things that I just threw down the basement stairs I'll post them up.

Have a great day guys.

Did you ever get a head on this guy? It looks like something went seriously wrong in the Batcave?

I had an opportunity to see this collection in person and I can attest to the fact that what you see in the video does not compare to what these props and models look like in person. It was an amazing experience and Thomas is incredibly kind and humble host. Hope to visit again!

First,...bite me!!!! :p:lol:

Why do all these amazing collections live so far away from me. Putting aside I have never once been invited to see any of them, I wish they were closer,....and I got invited.

Simmon!!! Hi!!!! I basically started collecting props because of this guy! Simmon has one of the best 1:1 lifesize bust collections I have EVER seen. Over the years, we became good friends, and Simmon helped me out so much getting into this world.
I have attempted to display my collection as nicely as someone like Simmon's but alas... I never had the fortitude to really renovate my rooms or throw anything away that I've upgraded. I sound like a hoarder HAHA

You are always welcome Simmon.
