Superb. This is gonna look wicked once painted.
Carefull you don't fall into the trap of keep tweaking what now looks more or less finished.
Can't spend the next 3 months fiddling when we have so much coming up.

Duuuuuuuude that's badaaaaassssss! Looking viscious man.

Thanks man, took alil while of design tweaking but getting there .... slowly

There ya go! That design flows perfectly with the lines above the eyes - nice work!!!

Thanks man, have reworked the brow slightly but have changed the effect of it so it still follows (y)

Hey guys and gals,

Here's another update. I have finished the crown area and brow line and I am happier with new the new design. Unfortunetly, thanks to the mini heat wave in the UK, I have now got to re smooth over and re sort out the tusks on the left hand side as the heat made the clay soft and the 3 tusks on that side pulled themselves away from the cheek and detached

But funny enough, When I put them back on temporarily (for the pictures lol) it actually resembled that of scarred tissue a lil like the Wolf Pred lol. Anyway, enough of my yabba'in here's the pictures.....

Awesome work, looking mean as hell.well done.

Thanks a bunch man, still gotta added the 'metal' look about it but I think I am nearing the home stretch.

Whoo hoo! Looking fine bro!

Thanks man, got any ideas how to make the bio look 'worn' and 'damaged' - I want it to look like it has been in at war for years or stuck in a desert - so rust taking it's toll on it and started to 'flake' any ideas?

I like it man very interesting development

Thanks bud

Hell, your progress went well I see..... that is a master peace...... AWESOME!

I like it very much! Lookin' forward to the finished and painted Bio ! (y)

For weathering, I leave that all up to the paint. You can sculpt in dents dings and scratches but for weathering I primarily rely on paint to do that magic

Thanks guys.

@ PredtrHuntr - will do that then but I did have a practice at trying to add that bubbly kinda rust to the bio.

So I made some indentations of various sizes using different tools which seems to be working out quite well. You'd be suprised but the coarse side of a sponge does brilliantly for this kinda work.

I was also looking into method for adding in cracks or fatigue which I found accidently whilst moving the bio. The larger tusk got caught on the table and it caused the area crack around the area where the tusk meets the cheek.

I have only just started the the crown area, still alot more work to do for texturising and ageing but you can get my basic idea

What do you guys think?

I like it ;) It's got a very primal look and feel to it. I can see brown, gold and bronze used to paint this. Wow...I just got a wicked visual in my head. Imagine a Pred with this Bio on meeting up with a group of tough Vikings...that would be awesome. Battle axes and blades a-flying!!!

I've been meaning to post on this all day long! Dude your weathering and aging are amazing! Those areas that are smooth and dimpled give it this 'old battle worn/left in the elements' kinda errosion badassness feel to it. Very cool man. Those cracks are awesome too man.

Had the pleasure of seeing double h's sculpts in the clay so to speak at the weekend. Trust me, pics don't do them justice.
Ps. Don't forget my free pulls, Jason. Lol

Funny enough, that was a thought that went through my head at one point - your spot on with the paint up colours, they match my exact thoughts. Am gonna add in a hint of silver/ hammered metal as a base and then build on top. Thanks for the great feedback bud

everytime i come to see the progress on this its blow my mind, its looking great , whats left to it?

Wow, thanks man. Whats left to do?...... just gotta finish of the ageing to the crown area and then it should be ready for moulding.

Thanks man, this is awesome feedback. I went out on a whim with the ageing and fatiguing - wasn't sure if it would come across well or if it would go south and no-one would like it but everyones feedback is very encouraging. I am glad that the image/idea in my head has been portrayed and everyone can see it. Thanks again for the great feedback bud!

Shhhhhhhhhhhhh..... don't tell them all, they will all want a free one lol....

It was a pleasure showing you my work bud, anytime.

Thanks again for the great feedback guys, I will update the thread again once I have finished the ageing on the crown area.

Hey guys and gals,

Decided to crack on with this after seeing the 'light at the end of the tunnel' so to speak and finished off the texturizing and ageing of the crown area. I have also removed the clay inside the eyes just to show you what it will look like. I couldn't remove the small piece of clay from the the outside of the eye on the otherside of the 'snake eye' effect as the detailing would just lift. Once cast this will be solid and attached to the brow.
