So I received this today from Ebay.

I can't really say how it will look or if will work until I have the reveal chamber in hand. It really just looks like a cut piece of glass to me. I know nothing about crystals so I really don't know.

I would recommend waiting until you have the reveal section in hand and then going in person to someplace that had these and pick it out in person. I thought this looked perfect and it may work perfect but I just don't know.

Here's the one I got. I used measurements given in this thread, and searched Etsy for a good match.

Quick update, things are coming along, I had to order a new batch of set screws, the ones I was using were a little tight for the sliding mechanism I needed to change them to dog point set screws. looking good!

For the crystal, there are 2 types of openings, the ones I put on the bottom are a 1/4 inch opening
but u can still use up to a 8mm in width crystal but you will need to glue it somehow to the opening.

Well darn. Earlier in the thread you mentioned keeping the crystal under 10mm, so I got one just over 9mm. Looks I'll need to do some modifying

It should fit, Ill make sure to send you one that has a 10mm " Ring " opening . I had to switch to a different size for the rest of them but I can send you the original since you already bought a crystal
