If it weren't that type of switch, what other options would there be? I'm interested in one pending other activation methods.

The obi saber is one of the most difficult, there are some other ways but the clamp would need to be modified. You could put a toggle switch the slit of the graflex clamp. Right now I'm just trying to find the easiest option. I'll send u different types that I've seen

thats a good idea, it is possible I will talk with the shop about an idea I have. If they will add it in with out a price change I'll post the idea here.

That is awesome.

I want the clamp switch. If it's in the turning motion then is goes on when we open it but I want to hit it on while on display open. If it's in the clamp you can turn it on as you open it but if it's in the turning motion you have to close and open again to get it to light up.

Plus I love the clamp actually doing something

Also is the crystal gonna look like that or more rough like the EFX one did?????

I would still love both flickering and steady

It will look like that, due to costs, but u can change it out if u would like to. it's hard to find nice crystals

Lol, it's called crystal point. Be careful though, I bought 2 of those 100 set lots and they all sucked! Waist of money

Thus will these on Ebay work for the lighting????

As long as the Crystal is somewhat transparent it will work, the more transparent the brighter it will be.
Bare in mind these chambers are in pieces. So u do have an opportunity to modify them any way u guys would like. Honestly if like to see all the different customs that could be made with these chambers.

As for crystals I'd try to keep them under 10mm in OD.

A colored crystal will look nice when not lit. However, a clear crystal will look best and brightest when lit. Plus you can use any color light for some variety.

I just loved the EFX Crystal both when lit and not so I am going for the same look here but in blue obviously.

Im in for the full FX kit and switch but now Im thinking about sound. Do you have any plans or suggestions to add sound to the saber?

I looked into it, and I'm trying to find a different source for that but honestly if u want sound the best thing is to get the nano b.
It's perfect for this saber mod.

You mentioned 10mm for the OD of the crystal, what about length?
