Payment sent for the heat sinks. Feels like we are getting closer! Can't wait to see some of these built.
Payment sent for heatsinks and wire
gotcha both!
The machinist was supposed to start our stuff this week. Scott is on the ground where the machinist is, so waiting to hear if they have or not.
They have been trying some funny business but we're not putting up with that! We are close, that much is known!
That's the all aluminum. I highly recommend at least getting the end cap in metal - the anodized paint will just look better. Is that an aluminum or plastic prototype you finished there GeneralFrosty?
Here we go folks! Here is my prototype paint job on this kit. There are a few parts missing so please excuse that.
This will approximately be what my clients can expect from my shop if you choose to have your kit professionally finished. @dday has all the info on hiring me for this. Customer must provide all parts not included with the kit.
Hope you guys like it! I look forward to doing more and excited to offer top quality service every step of the way.

Thank you for the kind words!BEAUTIFUL work there GeneralFROSTY! I do have a question for you GeneralFROSTY. If we have D-day provide the red wire with our kits, will you install them for us if we commission you to paint the hilt? Just curious if this service will be provided? Also wondering on details on pricing? Can you PM me details please? Thanks!:cool
GeneralFROSTY; got one of the very first full alu pieces off the prototype line. So this is the real deal.Is that an aluminum or plastic prototype you finished there GeneralFrosty?
Thank you for the kind words!
I have prepared a thorough PDF document that details everything you'll need to know for hiring me specifically for this incredible kit. Please follow the link below to view it.
The only part that is an additional cost is if the customer sends me the belt clip for mounting and painting.
Wires and emitter plugs will be included with my rate if you provide them.
It's a very well made kit, those involved with making it really did an amazing job.
I trust dday won't mind me putting a direct link to the info PDF here (might save him some email requests)

Thanks for the quick response GeneralFROSTY! D-day, I'm interested in getting the red wire with my kit, & having it sent to GeneralFROSTY for painting. D-day, is there any chance of arranging to get one of Luke Daley's functional saber clips, so it could be sent with my kit & red wire to GeneralFROSTY? I already have one of Luke's full kits that includes the metal belt clip. Wondering if it is possible to just get the metal saber clip and mounting hardware from Luke to be included with the saber kit? I'm sure others would be interested in the same. Don't know if you've thought about contacting Luke to make this an available option or not? If this isn't feasible, I'll have to contact Luke directly to see about getting the parts to install on my saber after the other work has been completed. Just some food for thought I guess!:cool
