CLONE WARS weekly discussion thread

Good info.

However I already knew Jacksonville, FL would not be a market on the list. I often do a search on my DVR to see what Star Wars related programming will be on TV. If CW was on here in syndication, I would have seen it in the search listing.

I have season 1-4 on blu ray and season 5 in the DVR but sometimes you just like finding your favorite shows airing when nothing else is on.

Odd, I would think Jacksonville would be considered a larger market. :confused
 
I spent a good part of last year on temporary duty in Ft Worth, TX, You will notice that Dallas-Ft Worth market is not on the list nor is my home town of St. Louis, MO.

Star Wars The Clone Wars has changed my life forever and I feel privileged to have spent the past 7 years working for George Lucas, Dave Filoni and the entire cast and crew for Lucasfilm Animation. I am beyond thankful to have had the opportunity to work with a team that challenged the standards of excellence in animation and ultimately raised the bar so high for all other projects to come.

I would also like to thank all of YOU! Being a part of the Star Wars Universe has made me a better person because of the opportunities shared and time spent with fans around the world. Thank you for everything you've given me.

Always in motion is the future and the future looks very bright if you are a Star Wars fan. There are so many new stories that are going to be told and a new chapter in the Star Wars Universe is about to begin. Trust me, you're not getting rid of me, I'll still be here loving Star Wars with all of you and talking about it on a daily basis. I can't wait to see what's ahead, but I will be forever grateful to have been the voice of Ahsoka Tano on Star Wars The Clone Wars for 5 seasons. Thank you for going on this journey with me.

then those must be crappy star wars hatin' no good towns. I'll be sure never to live in those anti star wars slim holes :lol

So I am in love with this character as some of you have seem to also be intrigued, I've trooped with the 501st as Rex and have been looking for a new costume to do from the CW series, (My current 2nd costume is a biker scout from ROTJ).

I've just spoken to someone who is willing to help me create this awesome character. Once I can, i'll start a build thread on this costume. I'm real excited to get started.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I just had to inform some peeps of my impending descent into insanity whilst i make this costume! LOL

I too was surprised to see a 'yellow' lightsaber blade. I may have a source to get a yellow dual saber. albeit the price will be pretty pricey. so for now I'm planning on modding a Maul toy saber until i can save the funds for a real nice one.

I am sure there are others that can do yellow blades but I know from Parks Sabers - The Most Powerful Sabers In The Known Universe listing that they offer them. I do not know if the sell the components though.

I was thinking about this "new direction in animation" they state. Maybe I am slow on this one but I wonder if this refers to the actual style of animation such as a more realistic CGI animation.

Could straight to disc or even theatrical release animated star wars movies be utilized to tell stories of Luke, Han, and Leia in a younger state? We know Hamill and Fisher have no issues with voice over work. I guess Ford would be the biggest question mark, but even if he did not, I know LFL have a voice actor that does a pretty good Solo voice.

Are you looking for one that has sounds or one that just lights up? Because a baisc lightup one is insanely easy to make. It's practically a flashlight.
 
They seem to be doing a shake up of the franchise with this canceled and Detours postponed indefinitely (which is a good idea as it looked horrid).
 
Looks like next year/season is going to be boring one for animation fans with Clone Wars going away along with the end of Green Lantern and Young Justice.
