Chewbacca Bandolier part?

I've searched this forum and others high and low but can't find any info on this particular "greeble" on Chewbacca's bandolier.

Please forgive me if this has been covered before, I really did search.

Anyway - any idea what this part is? I've seen images of what looks like a concho, but this is something completely different.

Looks a lot like the one Han has on his belt in Empire.

I finally came to the same conclusion with the help of the rebel legion a ways back.

I ended up fabricating my own, but thanks for the link!
