Cheap Indy style fedoras at Burlington Coat Factory

Does anyone know if these hats will take dye? I found an excellent hat but its more of a camel in color.

Wow, that would be quite a job to re-dye felt. I wouldn't even know how to go about doing it.

I did spray paint a campaign hat black for a costume, but it was disposable, so I wasn't too concerned about ruining it.

The important thing is finding the right color dye. Definietely contact a hatter to see what the process is.

Clone - that brim really needs some serious trimming... might want to dig around on indygear.com/COW for some good tutorials on that.

i scored one of these yesterday, i will post pics soon, I think it is a very close match, but im no expert on these hats. I got the $20 hat because I liked the color and the feel better. Its even the "Harrison" model of the hat that I bought.

If anyone is close to Lexington KY the BCF there hat several of both the $10 and $20 hats in different sizes. But I wont be back that way anytime soon.
