I spoke to a guy who I can't name -- not just yet, anyway -- who was a bit of a jerk, but we soon discovered we both are royal asshats, so we're now getting on quite well.
He's a big name, too.
Peter Jackson.
The Wook :cool

I was thinking the same thing, Wook. CTF's info
says "Wellington" right under his name... Well, let's think of "big names" in Wellington.
Peter never struck me as a jerk or ******, though, just someone who tends to mind his own business and doesn't really do the big crowd/Hollywood thing.
Peter Jackson.

No, it's not Pete.
ps~I give up, who's the toolhead actor?
A good friend of mine met Peter Mayhew at DragonCon a few years back. He was pretty gruff with her but she said he looked a bit under the weather. The next day, he happened to run into her and apologized!

Travis Barker- Usually stoned and never will come out to take pics or sign autographs for the fans
Mark and Tom on the other hand are always welcoming with fans
I am Media Coordinator/Celebrity Liason for a local convention and I have met my fair share. Last year we had a pretty nice crowd of them.
The best so far have been: Henry Winkler, the cast from Revenge of the Nerds, David Naughton, Billy Zabka and Marty Kove (I ate dinner with them one night), ended up having to drive Marty to Cinci because he missed his flight Tyler Mane(ate dinner with him as well), Megan Franich (had breakfast with her and took her out shopping, total sweetheart), Jeremy Bullock (had breakfast with him and his wife)C Thomas Howell. Michael Madsen, William Forsyth. The entire cast from the original Fright Night. I got them all to sign my vampire kit and hung out with them two years ago as their liason....the list goes on
The nicest ladies by far were the girl of Nightmare. Heather, Lisa, and Amanda. Class acts all the way. Amanda Weiss was hilarious and totally down to earth. My buddy got the chance to take them out to Churchill Downs and they had a blast. We took Revenge of the Nerds, (Curtis, Julie, and Robert Carradine) to the Louisville Slugger Museum last year. They had a blast as well and were very gracious.
Some of the not so nice ones: Linda Blair (she is usually nice to me but was very rude to my wife...for some reason she always thinks I'm a cop), Micheal Biehn (my wife picked him up from the airport and he was bitching about the hotel he had to stay in), but the worst by far was Bob Wall from Enter the Dragon. I won't even begin to tell you my run in with him. The other was Tom Savini. That man won't even look you in the eyes. Very rude.
We have Bruce Campbell and James Marsters this year. We'll see how they act.
What the heck was the point of that post???
Hey watch, I can do that too:
I once went shopping with this really big name actor and discovered we both had the same taste in clothes. It was awesome. Now we speak on a daily basis. You guys would crap if you knew who he was...but I'm not going to tell you.
rolleyes:rolleyes
If he fell in my pool I would just add laundry and soap
