Casablanca Props

I recently watched this film on DVD and wondered if any one had any information about the props related to the film?

I know there's a book out there that has a picture of the "letters of transit", but I can't remember the name of it.

There was a company some years ago that had Blue Parrot T-Shirts.
They had shirts with famous bars and pubs around the world.

Some of the 70th anniversary DVD boxes had Ricks passport and a luggage tag, unfortunately it appears that the version sent to Target stores where I bought mine had dinner party place holders instead.:angry

There is a post card included of the letters of transit.

A cool prop would be the secret compartment ring with the Lorraine Cross, symbol of the Free French.

I wear one all the time all though it is minus the secret compartment.

That is what the Magnum PI Team ring was based on

I've just researched the Colt pistols and it looks like the one that was used in the film was the Colt 1903.

The one used in the poster may have been a Colt 1911.

I found a book by Frank Miller called "Casablanca: As Times Goes by : 50th Anniversary Commemorative" which I think contains a photo of the "letters of transit". Does any one know if this is the correct book?

Here is some stuff in this thread and there is a scan of the Letter of Transit that came with the Deluxe box set.

I recently bought the Deluxe box set and I will look thru the extras to see if there is anything worth scanning and posting.

Casablanca props_0002.jpgI found this image of Victor Lazlo's passport that was sold by Camden House Auctioneers.
I hope everyone likes it.

Here is my Paperwork set :)
Passport is copied from an original one and Laszlo's data set in.
