Captain Marvel Kree Starforce Blaster

My replica of the Kree Starforce blaster/sidearm used by Yon Rogg and a few of the other members of Starforce in the brilliant 2019 film Captain Marvel.
3D modelled and printed with the addition of internal LED lighting, with the switch located just behind the grip on the underside of the main body of the prop and the battery accessed in the end pommel of the grip to make this more of a hero prop.

It was a labour of love and proved difficult to have 3D printed as Shapeways is understandably skittish about printing anything gun shaped.
I had to separate the main body into two halves and have the grip printed separately so assembly and seam filling was a bit of a pain, but I got there in the end.

The laser cut acrylic inset panel had to be painted black then have clear styrene glued behind it to allow the green LEDs to eventually shine through. Then that whole piece was inserted inside the gun, hot glued in place and then masked off to keep the black area and stop the cut out clear areas getting primed and painted when the gun had been assembled for painting.
