This is a continuation of the original thread in the old and dead junkyard.

I have 10 people who i am making sets for. Pictures of the first set below.

I will be doing a second run in August. If you are interested put down here that you want a set. They are $250 and do not include the buckles. See dstenglers run of buckle sets for more info. he can ship them directly to me.

I will do the commissions in order of payment received and they can take up to 12 weeks after the run has started. We are talking 8-10 hours a set (hand cut, hand stained, hand sewn, hand made) and this is my side job along with other commissions like suits of armour that I am working on.

The money is paid upfront and shipping in North America is included. Outside of North America will require additional funds.

The original thread is here.

The harness looks like this:

This set was sent out and I promise better pictures on the next set. I am a leather smith...not a bleedin' photographer!

I am still on board for a harness. I had DStengler just ship the metal to me in the interim.

I have a prototype belt in stock (unstained) with one of the pouches (also unstained) that I would be willing to sell for $75 plus shipping.

Patrick - yours is getting shipped early this week. Mbmcfarland and jovonbeck are up next - cutting the leather today. Might even get to cut out more time permitting.

I'll put up photos of Patrick's when the contact cement dries.

Terry Taber:

"King, does that upper strap wrap around and connect to a 24 snap on the lower section? I guess I assumed it would just loop into the buckle like a belt. The measurements from your diagram were made to ensure exact for in order to facilitate the snap then? Or is there a way to tighten it? Perhaps I am off on the concept. Looks amazing by the way."

Missed this question - yes the whole harness snaps underneath. I can put a strap buckle that is adjustable underneath (not as movie accurate but more adjustable) or add an additional snap. They are hidden so that is not really a big deal to accommodate.

Don't forget about me. I wanted a harness hehe. If it'll be five months and I find another builder prior I'll tell you but I have all the metal from Stengler.

Sorry Terry. You're not forgotten.

Order on the list when the second run starts will be by payment date. I'll send out invoices at one time and then do 'em in the order I receive the payments.

So the second set is complete.

The pouches are closed with industrial velcro.

Snaps hold the buckle on, and attach at the rear. The rear is adjustable.

The shoulder harness is adjustable by 3 inches. All snaps are heavy line 24 snaps.

These pictures do the project a little more justice. Shipping this set tomorrow. Have two more cut and will start them immediately.
