Long ago the Russos were mentored by director, Stephen Soderbergh. I'm willing to bet it's tribute to him because he used that style of caption in his movies.Just saw the movie, and loved it.
Yeah, the location captions were strangely large.

Even after this many MCU movies, folks still walked out when the credits started rolling. I just don't get it.
I figure they just don't want to wait and will search for it on YouTube. The theater I go to is a single-screen family-run theater. They announced BEFORE THE MOVIE that there was a scene at the start of the credits, and a scene after the credits. People still walked out after the first one.
I've heard of comic fans comic fans complaining that it wasn't like the books before and I can only say that comes across more like comic-geek-elitism to me.now my friends are all hardcore comic fans, and they went into the movie believing it was going to suck, and when we all came out they all hated it because it was nothing like the book. this is were i told them, thats why i enjoyed it so much! you really didnt know what to expect! this is the first real marvel movie that threw me for a loop! i didnt see bucky killing tonys parents until tony said "that road looks familiar". the airport fight i was waiting for someone to dye, praying it wasn't giant antman. ( is he now considered atom man?) and I'm glad no one died
What you saw is what's known as the "mid-credits" scene. At the end of each Marvel film (with rare exceptions) there is both a mid-credit scene and a post-credits scene which happens at the end of the credits. In this case the post-credits scene was the Spider-Man bit. If you didn't know about that you'll need to go back over every movie to see them. The post-credits scene from The Avengers features them all in a wrecked restaurant eating schwarma, for example. Age of Ultron is a rare exception that has no post-credits scene.was there 2 hidden scenes at the end of the movie? i watched a youtube video just now and it said in the credit scene it showed spiderman's logo projecting belt buckle?!? the only scene i saw was them putting bucky back to sleep, please tell me there wasn't another scene and that i missed it

Is the snide facepalm because I wasn't clear on the state of SHIELD agents in the current MCU? If so, sorry, I was busy not being a virgin, but thanks for your unwarranted contempt.
Or was the Comic Book Guy-esque facepalm due to my political reading of Cap's behavior? Because I can see a lot of intelligent arguments about whether Cap should trust the govt having been burned before, etc etc etc. But a bitchy facepalm isn't an intelligent argument.
aaah... yeah i knew couple movies had 2 scenes in the credits. i should have googled and checked before i left. but like you said i waited and waited in AoU and got nothing lol
As discussed above, in The Winter Soldier Arnim Zola is showing Cap a brief history of Hydra's infiltration of SHIELD. In the footage he mentions that when events did not go as planned Hydra swayed them back in their favor, showing newspaper clippings of "accidents" like Howard Stark's car crash and flashing a photo of the Winter Soldier.one thing i was not aware of... and i may have forgotten. but when tony asks cap if he knew bucky killed his parents and cap said yes. what movie and when do we learn that cap knows bucky killed tony's parents? i can't recall seeing that? and that confused me

this is in the movie or in the end credits? I honestly don't remember seeing this. I'm going to watch winter solider again tonight. I probably saw it but just forgot.
thank you for explaining
I really enjoyed CA Civil War and I really enjoyed BVS. I am not trying to start trouble here, but I find it hard comprehend that people liked Civil War but hated BVS.
