Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

I got the silhouette SPX match red very cheaply.

Has anyone dyed their frames?? If so which dye did you use? I have a pair of dbs frames I want to dye black
I have used Rit dye on acetate, but it is difficult to get a very big color change at the low temperature that can be safely used. Changed to moderate color is doable, true black may not be.

Also found a bargain pair of Op-40 in pale gold/cobalt blue.

I also have a new ID...worn at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards, I thought at first maybe an Oliver Peoples Farrell, but then I saw a pic showing the temple tips, and it was clear they had to be a Mosley Tribes frame, the Alliance! Hard to be utterly sure on the color, but I suspect silver with stock lenses.

Black is the color I would be going for, on an acetate frame, my tort OP dbs. I have the matte brown and wanted a black pair so I may give it a try. Thanks for the insight!

Make sure you wipe off any sealer or polish they may have used. Naphtha should work, i.e. treat it like you are prepping wood to be stained.

I've just picked up the Oliver Peoples Basel OV5236s 1132/R5 transparent grey as seen in the attached images.

Thanks to UV 400 for confirming my find was indeed said frames in the images :)
In truth I wasn't intending on purchasing any more frames but sometimes it's too good to miss, plus I've really liked these frames for the longest time.

The subtle grey lenses will be tough to match. If anyone has some good quality close up images that would be awesome!

I found silver Copters!
These are the 5135 K2 colorway, silver with brown/grey (the grey is subtle in reality) gradient polarized lenses with flash mirror on the front and AR coating on the back. They are tier 2 tint, not too dark. I don't like full mirror but these are nice!
