Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

Think they look the same very slight blue as Tanya's lens, heck, maybe they are them. And yes they are fine as prescription glasses, I plan to do this with mine.

Yeah, the question wasn't really about whether they are ok with prescription lenses, obviously any frame is.

I was trying to ascertain whether the lenses on the various images were in fact clear, which could suggest prescription lenses.

I'm still not convinced there is a tint on the lenses worn at the Stones concert, I could of course be mistaken and it is obviously a possibility that he owns more than one pair of the flight 006.

My 006s have a very light blue tint already so I'm cool with that but I actually like the look with clear lenses

Okay, so these new pair are Ray-Ban Nomad RX5487 -2000 black frame with clear RX lenses (54□17 140)...

The background looks like it's the same as from the live stream with Matt Damon, but the glasses from that stream aren't the Nomads...


So much for my attempt to rein in the spends, I just ordered a pair!!
They are available in 52's, but I ordered the 54's.

Deliberately hold back on ordering a much wanted pair, then wait a couple of days until the feeling of disappointment and FOMO turns into one of happy accomplishment and self achievement.

I saved the images you posted for Outfit ideas, with t-shirt at the forefront of that and I not surprisingly keep getting drawn to the Carreras.

I'm not prepared to claim success just yet LOL

I've just had a quick look on their website. Unfortunately they don't seem to have that particular t-shirt anymore.

I've emailed them to ask the question.

They do have some nice designs though. The Bruce Lee Jeet Kune Do t-shirts are very cool

So, to my ordered Ray-Ban Nomads, I've just added some prescription lenses, which got me thinking, (to anyone who knows "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" ), the thing with large bold statement style glasses, most especially with RX lenses which have that magnification effect to the eyes appearance, it's a slippery 4 step road from 1 to 4...

Side note: Frank Reynolds' (Danny DeVito) large Prada glasses, despite seeming to always look black, are actually dark tortoise.

Anyway, to avoid any "Minion" related incidents, I really think I'll avoid wearing my Ray-Ban Nomads with my Free City yellow t-shirt...


...at the same time, especially with blue denim jeans!! LOL (I'm 6 2, but I suppose being mistaken as a Minion would be awesome!!) LOL

Well the Rayfords are a particularly nice aviator... can't blame her really, can you?

And clear Soloists arrived! Really really happy with these! Probably will put in a lighter blue Rx lens I think.

I keep finding them lying around without their cases and I'm like, remember it's "off the face and into the case!!". I've found a few tiny marks on them, but I think it's best not to bring it up as her micro collection really doesn't compare to hundreds of mine!! LOL

Police S8950 momentum 2 in W03X arrived yesterday.

Very nice, quite different on face to what I was expecting but after wearing them around the house for a spell and a few selfies later I'm pleased with them.

They also increase my proper sunglasses range too which is something I've worked on recently, the turquoise/blue and silver colour combo is very neat!

Definitely a frame on the "easier to acquire" end of the collecting spectrum, but 2 minutes and you have them in hand already is outstanding!!

Although I'm having prescriptions for my RB Nomads, I've also asked that the clear Ray-Ban demo lenses are still included too.

Although demo lenses are usually really thin, I'm hoping they are this version (if these are indeed demos in these product pics?)...Ray-Ban logo top corner of right lens...

And etched "RB" on the left lens...


And not this version below, which cannot be worn with the logo positioned like this on the left lens...


Maybe the prescription lenses will have the logos on too.
