Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

UV is at it again for you guys…haha, but dude show us your collection, would love to see it! Also Actually, All of you still active, show your collections of what you have and what you’re missing! Do have glasses I took out, and some I needed lenses changed

I'm probably up around the 50 mark.

I actually decided to just calm the buying a bit as now covid is calming down I want to have the cash for my wife and I to do stuff, which in turn gives me the chance to dress up and wear some of these awesome pieces of eyewear.

That said, the very week I made the decision to reign in my buying I ordered the Oakley frogskins lite and Police S8950 so that plan worked for like 1 day LOL

LOL on the spending BTW, exactly the same here!!

It's so crazy, every time I also try to rein in my eyewear, the eyewear always ends up raining down!!
When you do master this, please let me know, because as it seems to be always raining eyewear in my home, I have no flood defences!!!

Seriously though, I may need to address and curtail this soon. I think I'll compile a very short and narrowed down "most wanted list" and focus on just strictly adhering to that, by removing all my other searches etc.
Who knows, it might just work!!

Yeah, I listed a few and then realized I don't have even one Cutler and Gross... or Kirk and Kirk. Even if you said you're only getting Oliver Peoples, throw in some alternate colors and you could still hit close to 100!

I added another pair of Izipizi #C to my collection just to make double sure I have the right ones somewhere between the 2 pairs.

From this older previously posted Instagram pic...

I already had these limited edition green moss +1.00 #C readers that I added my own custom grey lenses to (previously posted on p. 209 + p.211)...

And just got these +0 #C Sun too...

So whichever ones they are, I should have it covered...

I own both the reader pair in the lighter more celery green and the sunglass pair witch is slightly darker. I also just picked up another reader pair even darker green. Lots of variants in these... I can post pictures tomorrow.

OK - In regards to the Izipizi frames. Hopefully these images will help tell the tale so to speak.
Here we have the sunglasses in Peppermint Green LMSS#C C125 EFJ

The Limited Edition readers in Moss Green LMS#C C86 EFF

And the readers in Green Crystal LMS#C C14 EFF

Here is a comparison shot.

I believe the consensus is that Robert is wearing the limited edition green moss with either custom tinted lenses or maybe a simple lens swap with another pair of the same frame. It's my understanding the green moss was only offered in a reader and not a tinted sunglasses. (EDIT: After going back and looking at UV400s post they obviously were offered with tinted lenses but I did note the pair he has is a reader as well. So it's possible I'm partially correct - offered only as a reader with clear or tinted lenses and not as a straight up sunglasses.) I actually bought the peppermint green to do a lens swap myself but never got around to it. This might be easy to discern as the sunglass pair has different arms - they have a grooved detail on the side not present in the readers. (Apologies for the bad lighting conditions - the photo was an afterthought) (EDIT - The grooves are also clear in UV400s post above of just the sunglass version.)

I think it's a case of our group looking at your great comparison pics and making their own informed decisions, as the lighting in the RDJ pic, I suppose could really alter how a green semi-transparent frame would appear, in terms of lightness or darkness.

Looking back at the photo in your previous post I think it's safe to say they are the limited edition readers as the sunglass versions have the groves on the sides... The ones Robert is wearing do not seem to have them.

That's awesome, the angle of your great pic kinda says it all.

I think I'll be putting the #C Sun dark grey lenses into the #C limited edition readers!!

**Top tip**
As I mentioned in earlier posts, if swapping the lenses over, do not get the lenses mixed up, do 1 lens at a time , as the left & right lenses are nearly identical (like most of the "keyhole bridge" round lens style frames like the OP Sheldrakes & PS Lennies) - You really don't want to end up trying to force the wrong lens into the frame.

Small request...

I found a backup pair of Vaypers for $10 and am thinking to try painting them since the Neptune ones are so unavailable.

Can someone with the right pair tell me if they seem baby blue or are they a bit greener, like a shade towards teal? Product pics online seem pretty baby blue but you know how that goes...
