Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

I think UV is on the right track... the Navarre have an arm that widens in the middle like RayBan Wayfarers, these look like parallel sides to me.
Thanks man!! :D(y)

Ultimately, it's all just pure guesswork here (it always is!!) - I've been trying to grab a decent moving image with the pause button and do some cropped images to try to convince myself...

Still can't get over that blue hair though!! I'd like to think that maybe, just maybe, it's in preparation for the part of Grand Admiral Thrawn from Star Wars (I think maybe it was talked about with John Favreau)...LOL!!!...

Picked up the gold Bottega Veneta 1052 when I saw some at a low price . Solid aluminum wayfarers feel weird, I have to admit. Also they are extremely gold! May take time to acclimate.

And some Police shades for $70. These I liked right away. They would be a pretty moderate tint but for the flash coating.

what about at GMA for a premiere?
I was able to determine that they have to be Versace but the closest I could get was VE4281 which has the right arm decorations but is too big and too cateye, IMO

You were definitely on the right track(y)

I thought that I ID'ed these earlier, apologies, I must have forgot to post...o_O

They are Versace VE3203 GB-1 (Gloss black frame with custom grey/blue gradient lenses) I think they are the 53□17 140, as they are also available in 51mm...;)

Incidentally, these are the same frame worn by Margot Robbie as Dr. Harleen Quinzel...:)

There's a lot of DC Harley Quinn fans out there in direct competition in finding the Versace VE3203 GB-1 black frames - (who are well aware of the exact frame & model) making them a bit harder for our small group to come by.

I guess pure dedication and daily searches will always eventually be rewarded!!

If it's a DC fans vs. Marvel fans showdown, bring it on!! LOL :D

Yeah, I think they have just been posted!!

Not 100% sure just as yet, but I think these might be 817 Blanc LNT's...

They do look like they match up.

The size indicated on the frame looks to be 49□21 145...

View attachment 1584108

...Which is a bit on the small side, which is why I'm not 100% on this as yet.
That said, a 21 bridge and the frame style of those protruding temples may make them seem a bit larger visually.
I'm busy going through the Polaroid range of frames just in case.

I think he's still a bit on the young side for the old lady blue rinse hair though, lol!!

Also, I think these newly posted frames are Oakley Frogskins Lite 63□10 138...;)

Hi UV

Which colour do you think the lenses are on the Oakleys?

I'm thinking Prism Ruby.

It's awkward because the lens colour changes depending on the angle you view it from but the letters on the lens seem right

Hi dude,
I agree with you there on prism ruby.(y)

The only pair of Oakley's I have are the matte black Holbrook, so I've never seen Oakley's prism ruby lenses "in the flesh" so to speak.

Most of the product pics I've seen of prism ruby seem to have a bit of orange in there too, but then why would they call it "ruby"?

I've found a "fire red" non-genuine Oakley replacement lens, but it's probably just prizm ruby and legally they aren't allowed to call it that.
20220613_084909.jpg

Anyway, I'm not seeing any blue on the arm in the RDJ pic, so I don't think it's this version...
20220613_083634.jpg

So best guess based on the RDJ pic, is that it's this matte black model with prism ruby...

20220613_083621.jpg

20220613_083928.jpg

I've found 2 pics of an "actual pair" of the above model for sale, which I suppose is a fairer representation and shows the lenses a bit more red.
Interestingly, the lenses look even more red when there's something behind them, despite them being mirrored.
Notably it's the folded arms, which look red, as seen through the lens. This would point towards the Prism Ruby taking on a much more red appearance overall, when actually worn...

Thanks for that.

I've ordered the prism.

The thing that confused me was the frame colour. On the RDJ image clearly black, but looking online the seemingly red lens had blue arms.

The Prism online have what look like purple lenses but quite clearly black arms.

The images you provided of the Prism show that under certain conditions the lenses do in fact look red.

I needed some good eyewear for extremely bright light. These should do the trick nicely

I took the plunge and ordered some too!!:D

I ordered the OO9374-0463
20220613_105508.jpg

Looking at the RDJ pic again, the "Oakley" emblem on the arm seems to appear to "raised" and in "3D"...
20220613_104747.jpg

I wish I hadn't spotted this just after I ordered, but alarmingly, (unless it's just the way the light catches the logo) there may be 2 versions:
3D effect logo...
20220613_103640.jpg 20220613_103702.jpg 20220613_090510.jpg

What looks to be a "Printed on" logo...
20220613_103735.jpg 20220613_103719.jpg

This seems to apply to the blue arm 2763 too...
20220613_103821.jpg 20220613_103810.jpg 20220613_103750.jpg

Maybe the "printed on" version is a newer model to cut down costs.

I've just doubled checked my order over the phone and I'm assured that I've got what appear to be the "3D" logo versions as pictured on their website.

I'll see what they are like when they arrive,(fingers crossed!!).
It's next day delivery, so I'll post some pics soon.

I would maybe check your order if it's possible!!

That's a close up from the shadestation website.
It does look raised, fingers crossed

I've just cancelled my order and re ordered the Oakley frogskins lite in code 009374 0463.

It would appear I got the last pair from this particular shop as it now says out of stock :)

I'm looking forward to receiving them, they're quite different from my usual preferences.

Fingers crossed on the arm logo!

The 0463 is "best guess" until maybe another shot emerges 100% confirming those arms as matt black with a red logo.

I'm in the same boat, waiting with crossed fingers and hoping the lenses are really quite red and have the 3D red logo.

It's funny, as I wasn't going to buy the Frogskins Lite until I saw your post and entered a state of panic buying!! - I thought "What if they run out of stock everywhere?" LOL.

Lol.

I know what you mean.

I actually decided to get them for very mature reasons.

Having just returned from Spain I'd forgotten how intense the sunlight is!

It was obvious I needed more "proper" sunglasses for upcoming vacations - plus I don't own any Oakleys at the moment
