Related, I didn't know the Carrera 1B 010-KM came in 2 sizes until I also found a pair of 59□14 130 to go with my 61□14 135...

I think I prefer the 61's fit TBF.

Also related, I've had a few images of a red pair of frames that needed ID'ing...


I think they are quite likely to be Carrera Winner 2 FQD9L (red and black frame) 61□11 140...


Adding to my ever growing Carrera "mini" collection, I took a bit of a calculated risk and grabbed a brand new pair...


This may have solved another pair, as I'm also guessing these may be the same frames too (currently though, I can't find a color shot of this image to confirm this)...

Haha, I too had been toying with getting some, but all my eyes could see initially were Silhouette Futura's!! Lol......


Even Elton John couldn't really pull off the look!!...


But the more I looked at the Carrera LENS3S, they grew on me and I decided like yourself that they were indeed cool and different. As a part of an ongoing and varied collection, ultimately, they were a must have!!

Another bargain (on ebay), some Giorgio Armani "Garconne" AR7019 5017 black, with custom yellow lenses 54□18 145.
I really dig the black velvet detail sections on the arms and frame fronts, as I don't have anything like this on any of my frames...


Eventually found some "Thor Endgame" blue Giorgio Armani AR8060 5402/R5 and had to give them one of my "custom" presentation boxes as it's an MCU movie frame...my entire Stark MCU frames collection now all have these!!


...They would go nicely with the black Arctic Circle Setesdal wool Norwegian jacket, perfect for this time of year as it definitely has that Christmas jumper vibe going on!!! Lol...


With the AR8060's added to my RDJ Giorgio Armani frames, my GA "mini" collection, thus far...

Got a mega crazy bargain price on a pair of tortoise Walton's...(£19.99!! on ebay.uk), they arrived today...


Looking at the images above from the Iron Man 3 premiere (especially the last two), I think the actual custom lenses used maybe " dark brown" mirror, which I suppose would follow as it's a brown frame.
Today I've put "greyish silver mirror" in mine for now, just until I can source some lenses that might be a better match...

As is probably already known, RDJ arrives at the premiere in tortoise Walton's with custom mirror lenses and after kindly giving them to a fan, switches to the black Walton's with custom very light peach lenses.
Here's a good pic of the 2 Walton frames together...

Excellent all round condition, only the arm had a slight bend in it, but some mild "low setting" hairdryer heat sharp rectified that.

I've always liked the garconnes, and I was about to get a pair a couple of times in the past, but what held me back was the fact that it is listed as a women's frame. such thing never bothered us obviously, but I was afraid that maybe they could be a little too narrow on the nose, as it happens sometimes in these cases. do you guys think I shouldn't worry about this and start looking for them again?
