I agree. Maybe at $100 I'd consider it as a truly unnecessary purchase. I'm actually not star struck (by anybody). I'm more appreciative of the stylists who come up with eyewear/outfit ideas. :)

Feel like Indiana Jones... found an ancient Porsche Design P8478 in Tunisia, in Carthage no less. $10, no lenses. It is gold, naturally.

I also have that color！I was looking for an actual color dark oak!
But I think the olive green and turtle color is better.
 
Now that I know more about glasses I can see that the Cortland is essentially a stylistic descendant of one of Michael Caine's Yvan glasses, though not as complete a recreation as the Oliver Peoples Brisdon (used by Ryan Reynolds in Free Guy) which except for the temple dots is an exact copy.

I wasn't kidding when I said the internet was exploding with smoking deals.
Persol 714 and Polaroid PLD6115 in ruthenium and blue. I have so many airborne packages heading at me I'm going to have to duck and cover when I see the mailman!
