Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

Here's my present, fresh from a second temple dunk in Rit Dyemore, now a pretty satisfactory dark shade, and Haydons. BTW, does anyone know what you are supposed to do to fit these? Are they meant to be bent to hook behind the ear or left straight like some aviators? Feels weird straight as I've never had straight temples before.

I don't think I am a fan of green lenses. Maybe champagne or that rusty orange/persimmon color.
Did persol dye the gray at the base of the temple black?

All 3 of the plastic or rubber pieces were medium brown originally with the brown painted frames. For mine I wanted them darker, so now they are a very dark brown. The brown tone is more visible in sunlight. Indoors it looks pretty black.

Here Sake, this is a picture taken in indirect sunlight. The color is like very dark chocolate. I didn't take a before picture but I think you might have a brown pair of 2430s already? Rit advised to make black by dying with gray (graphite they call it) followed by a second dye of navy blue, but I didn't have the blue dye and was happy enough with dark dark brown.

Thank you!

I peeled off the black 2430s (58). There is one more brown 2430s (55). I transplanted the base of the brown temple to 58.

Can the dye be peeled off by friction?

Going a bit afield, I picked up a pair of OP Sanfords (from Days of Future Past). If you thought the Aviatrix was just a bit small (unpossible!) then you will like these, couple small changes in the temples and upper bridge but very much like an enlarged Aviatrix. Here they are together for a comparison.

I worked on my storage and display today. I had an old Ikea curio cabinet and I put in remote controlled lights and a mirror in the back. Just need some good internal glasses racks to hold them at different heights. I want to see everything and easily pick out the day's wardrobe.

Got the last WP frame, the Dorset 357, today. Reasonable price, too. Also have a pair of Wiley X SG1 goggles on the way, only partially for costume reasons... I think they will be great as roller coaster glasses. This summer I was a real daredevil ... I wore Matsudas on coasters! Not all of them, the ones with upside down loops I gave my glasses to my wife. :)

Please let us know what you think.
The answer came when I thought it would suit Tony.

I found a Dior Black Tie in the factory packaging.

But wrong color! Black and Honey.

You know what I have to do. Make it more Starky.

I know it will still be translucent... but it will be better. Darker, the brown overlaid with purpley maroon like oxidized port wine.

Now let me polish it and set it with all its little friends.

I think it can be a good placeholder. It will work with a purple lens now.
