If you look where the right lens meets the right nose pad, it's there, really super small.
My phone can't pick it up, but it's there.
All it says is 53 - 17

Looking at the lens spec. printed on the top of the right lens, it seems to have "2" lines of spec. info, with the bottom line of text shorter than the line above it.


Interestingly, the left lens has only 1 line of info.

This doesn't seem to match either the LG3, 10 or 12.

As the scene is really dark to begin with, IMO the 10's and especially the 12's would be so dark, the eyes wouldn't be as visible as they are in the scene - (The 2 pictures from the scene above, have had the brightness turned right up).

The text spec. on the lenses is white too, but it may just be the lighting.

Could we be looking at custom lenses? - (again!)

The style of the Thorlabs seems to be found in many other makes of goggles - (with the 4 nose bridge dimples). Maybe it could be a generic shape and possibly another brand.
Thing is, you can almost make out the Thorlabs logo on the right temple arm.

Another mystery to solve with Ultra 4K....

Please don't buy any glasses when Initium Eyewear security is down, your information could be easily intercepted as none of the data flow is encrypted during this state.

Gotmeth was courageous enough to have modeled the 69s.

Beristark modeled the blue matsudas.

But if you're brave enough, model your pairs, the only reason why my instagram is open so people can have a reference for the glasses in scenes and size.

Dm me and I'll model any pair you'd like, I plan to do so with my Persol 2430 when they arrive.

Might just get gold TNGSs to pair with the blue lenses.

Also the Porsche Designs were confirmed to be silver but I'm getting those in gold too.

I'm still arguing with myself to get the Shawfords in gold or boring black.

Yeah, I'm not hung up on the OG colour either. Especially for a pair of frames that lasted only seconds on screen. GLCO sunglasses are fast becoming my new go to. The coffee and gold looks really nice, plus I love the style and the naming of these. Venice and the canals is a special place for me.

These are the only pairs I need left that are discontinued.

I've been doing this for 2 years and it still feels like endless nights scrounging the interwebs in various countries and discovering new ways to search.

There are times where I want to buy multiple colors, close enough, or do something like airbrush some VPS 53e's black. The struggle is real my friend.

To me, brown persols in 58 are close enough.

And I'm still learning to love my "bargaining chips" *cough*
