Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

Well its not like I can find the smaller size anywhere and these are brown anyway amd having worn the 51 Diors, they're small. I barely enjoy my "Sponge Bob, I'm ready" NDG-1s.

I'll buy these and if I decide to do a trade, I'll do a trade. They're $150 with the USD to Euro conversion. (There are many hidden opticals in Spain.)

And to be honest, it's better I secure them now most of the glasses here I've been shown work with my face size in comparison to RDJs size and having been fitting fine as a 5'8 asian male.

Size matters to me the most. I want them to fit. Color matters too, but as we all know, specific colors are hard to come by
I suppose that's where Jason has quite cleverly adapted his successful niche in the specialist IM frames market, in that he understands people want his IM frames, but may prefer a size more suitable to them, so they can wear them as well as just collecting them.

I think it's pretty cool he offers regular and oversize options on a lot of his frames, plus, multiple "non movie" color options for those who like the movie style, but maybe not the color.

That said, I think I try to lean more towards "die hard movie accurate" where I can, although it's sadly not always possible!

I still want movie accuracy as much as possible. Like my Robert Marc 719s and my Bromleys for example, they're not movie accurate and I'm on the hunt for them but at least I have an actual pair of each. As for sizes, my head is kinda big.

Yeah, I think a lot of us have some "stand-in" frames until exacts can be found!!

I wish I had a personal eyewear coordinator who spent every day tasked with searching the globe for frames on my behalf!!:D
..If only I could get all of those hours of searching back!

Pulled the trigger on some Karen Walker correct color Ali's & Sidney's, there's some great price drops on them at Moda Operandi & Yoox...in addition to sale prices, get a further 10% off your first order when you sign up to their emails!!

I think everyone loves the styles, that’s why they buy the frames, but ‘size wise’ it’s all about my head tbf! Haha!! I don’t buy the smaller glasses like the black ties, but buy the larger glasses like the waltons caus they’ll suit me more even though they’re not actually in films!!

Moda Operandi has awesome prices! Thanks for the tip. 10% off is only good for full-priced glasses btw.

Yeah sorry, the Sidney's were actually even cheaper there, but I got both the Sidney's & Ali's price slashed from Yoox with a further 10% off.

It would probably follow that the Kunio's would have the same big price drop too at some point, so I think I'll wait that out! ;)

Looking into the Persol lenses a bit more, there is definitely something in similarity with the movie versions and Tanya's 2430 picture.

Very early released screenshots seemed to make the lenses look gradient brown, then later HQ shots seemed to show them as a "solid even" brown.

Another instance where a "revisit" is totally worthwhile and beneficial.

Just like what we did with finally determining the M2002's, and what Wolfshire did with the British Steel's & 719's, here's the color whacked right up, which does show the same subtle two tone tint as Tanya's lenses....

And with more color.

So, I think these are the custom lenses used on screen and we can probably rule out a switch, using the brown lenses from the brown 2430's into the silver frames.
What do you guys think??

If someone can explain how forwarding services work and what's the best ones...

I'd love to save up and eventually get the cortlands, which I found in Madagascar. Seller has agreed to do a hold on them for me via a $50 USD. hold(USS $ to MGA is an insane difference... like 50 USD is 185,750.00 Malagasy Ariary )
