Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

Better pic I think confirms the Cutler and Gross 1308, but the frames are gold not palladium, the gold nose pads and "double bridge" gave it away too! Anyway, looks like it's the "swapping of the lenses" again!.....

Has anyone had any experiences with purchasing fake Ditas with the impression they were real? There's a guy on ebay selling some of Thier frames at half the cost. It's making me question If they are fake or not. He doesn't have all the frames just a few but he has 100 percent positive feedback with over 5700 sales

Does he have the Flight Seven model? If he does, does the lens etch say Flight Seven or 007? Because the 007s are fake.

The "half price" is the first alarm bell IMO. "If it's too good to be true" kinda thing!

Don't forget too, that 100% feedback on lots of sales on ebay can be easily faked, by either selling lots of items of a few dollars, building up to the "big sting", when all of a sudden high value items are for sale. They can also work with other likeminded "criminals" to just buy each others items. The money goes back around and 100% feedback on high value items is achieved.
It kinda happened to me buying a boxset....turned out fake, but lots of 100% feedback on similar/same items.

They have learnt not too offer fake eyewear items "too" low, like say $75, 'cos it looks too suspicious.

Seriously, I don't think any reputable supplier could do "half price" Dita's......ever!

Ok, so here's what I would do. (Done this before).
First call ebay and they will happily check out the seller for you, before making a purchase. In my case, they said they were well aware of the sellers fraudulent activity with counterfeit goods being sold as "the genuine brand article", despite having 100% feedback.
During the ebay call, they even went on to tell me all of the "genuine sellers" of my item and their seller usernames.

I then would make exactly the same call to Paypal, identical to ebay, they have a database of all suspicious ebay sellers and glady assisted me.

If both ebay and Paypal calls confirm as a genuine seller, then as you are completely protected if the eyewear is fake, you may find yourself in a postition where, because the item was "not as described", not only will you get your refund, but if the seller doesn't respond to Paypal to plead their case, you could also get to keep the item too...(also happened to me a year ago).

They usually don't bother trying to fight their corner, because they would have to admit to selling fake goods. It's actually easier for them not to even contact Paypal, as taking a few losses is easier. -They are making so much money from people who are none the wiser.

I personally think you have more protection on ebay+Paypal, than even a using a credit card on the internet.
Not only does any seller never get your card details, but if there is ever a problem, you have 2 firms (ebay & Paypal) fighting your corner - not just one!

Best case: You get the real Dita's!
2nd best case: The Dita's are fake, but you get to keep them + your full refund.
Worst case: You'll just get your full refund.

I bought the charcoal canal leights from him what I received is 100% legit don’t know about any other brands. I compare to a gold pair I bought from Saks 5th ave and they are exactly the same case and all

That's what every purchase ultimately, really needs beforehand, genuine feedback and recommendation. Would you get a plumber 'cos you got a flyer through your door, or because someone you know can recommend and can actually show you their work?

I had no idea your Canal's were from the same seller.

A good tip, which is also used in spotting fake watches, is to weigh the genuine on digital kitchen scales, then the "suspected" fakes. They should be identical or at least "nigh-on" the same weight.
You do have a good opportunity to pit the Saks 5th gold against the ebay charcoal!!

The question though, which may not really apply to your Canal price, IMO still remains.....how and where is the seller getting top end genuine Dita's supplied to them cheap enough, to sell at half price and still make a profit?

Just ordered my marvel edition lenses from Dita and I can’t believe how not expensive they are! Apparently there’s a Dita flagship store in San Francisco which is super close to me so I’m deff going there to get them put in.
