Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

Yes, if you print out the drill chart, check the scale printed in mm corresponds with that of an actual ruler. If it doesn't, adjust the image until it does. It was a while ago when I did it, but I also used Silhouette's drill coordinates too, as extra reference.
The other thing is, after you have marked your drill holes, be sure to use clear tape on the lenses (front & back) to prevent drill slippage! - learnt that one the hard way lol!
Thank you for the advice, I still don't know if I'll give it a shot.
What I was saying is that I don't think the scale in mm is correct, though I managed to find the right scale, I'll keep you posted.

For anyone considering going down the D.I.Y route, here's some You Tube links for Silhouette rimless assembly:

Option 1:
You can buy a rimless assembly/repair full kit for around $31, but given that you may only probably use it twice (TNG & SPX Match), it may not be worth it. You should get a small bag of 1.4mm plug bushes within the kit though - you would need to check they are in the kit.

Cheaper option 2:
You can just buy a bag of plug bushes quite cheaply and the clamping pliers by themselves cost around $8. (The clamping pliers are the only tool really needed during assembly!).
The pliers on the left are the clamping pliers to press the bushes onto the frames. The other 2 pliers: One is to check the 2 drilled holes are correctly spaced and the holes are clean (just use an indicator pin to clean the holes out), the other "clips" off the excess plastic plug bushes, or to completely remove the bushes during disassembly....but you can just use straight/flat edge nail clippers to do exactly the same!

Super cheap option 3:
Buy a bag of plug bushes and use standard pliers with small cut out sections of cardboard "packing" taped over the plier teeth on each side, to protect the lenses - (basically mimicking the clamping pliers). If you are careful enough, you can slowly press the parts together without any damage.
(I used this method to save a few bucks....how CHEAP am I??...Lol).

Hope this helps.

Thought I'd share some pics of my HB 0680's with mid grey tinted lenses.
Another reason the frame matches the top left screenshot from page 70, aswell as the same angularity, silver hinges being visible from both the top & sides, is that the temple arms are fatter near the temple, then taper off down the arm.

And a shot alongside the Dior 137's for comparison.

Having a bit difficulty sourcing the uncommon shade of purple tint for lenses for my 137's.

I just need a pair of movie Bromley's to have the Endgame frames sorted.

Thanks for the tips, I definitely want to give it a try, maybe later if I get some SPX match, did you make those too ?

Your welcome!
But on the SPX, no, I'm waiting for the right price, as I'm factoring in that, without lenses, they are essentially 3 bits of rubber! Lol.
They are 1 of the 5 eyewear that I need to complete the whole collection!

It genuinely hurts that I cannot help my fellow eyewear collector! I will certainly pass any info. to you about CD 137 availability.
As Gotmeth366 I think said earlier, this is a sunglass family! I'm here to help anyone in any way with the same eyewear interest and passion as myself!
I kinda don't want this thread to end, as there is still lots of stuff to discuss.

Haha it's all good i appreciate it.

Soooo, I Wanted to get my Oliver peoples soloists and my Paul Smith Walton’s fitted with the rdj lenses, but didn’t know where to go! So I sent them to ‘luxuryeyesite’ caus I knew they did a few rdj frames already, and I sent Them along with the pics/details that deckard sent!! Anyway, they got back to me today saying that they’ve completed them based on the pics of rdj, but that the details given were way off, and didn’t help at all. They’ve done them by eye and will send pics tomorrow! Just a heads up to you guys that were gona use deckards ‘hard work’ as a reference...even Jason said it was nonsense! I’ll send pics of their version when I get them

Will you remove the HB Logo on the side? I'm personally still waiting for better screenshots to take a closer look at the colour. I think it is the HB as the hinges do match I believe.

Also, if you look at the inside of the nose bridge, it seems like they match with the design.

Having just run across this thread (and not finding discussion on this) I am wondering if A: anyone found this site and B: if they are legit. $22? I can't imagine Matsudas being less than even 4 bills. We're talking designer eyewear that 5 people on the planet can afford without noticing the dent in their bank account. How is this site able to use the name to sell these? Iron Man 3 Male Steampunk Sunglasses Tony Stark Iron Man Matsuda Sunglasses Retro Vintage Eyewear Steampunk Sun Glasses UV400

Well obviously, they're not real Matsudas, you can tell just by the pictures and the color range. How can they use the brand name ? Unless Matsuda themselves complain (which is unlikely due to hundreds of knock of around the web), they have not that much to fear. They're most likely like the ones you can find on ebay for the same price, though I'd recommend ebay if you'd like to buy some, at least you have a garanty.

If the movie versions have the logo removed, I'll consider removing them, that said, I'm totally going to leave my TF logo on the Johnson's!
As I mentioned earlier, if they do turn out to be definitely the 0680's, they still may yet be in a different color - suits me, I really like the HB's and wouldn't mind them in another color if I'm honest!

what others do you need
Was this for me?
If it was, :D I need:
London Calling (Red Havana)
Silhouette SPX Match
Dita Flight 006
Matsuda M3023 Cobalt blue (but in 57 this time)
Mosley Tribes Bromley (Initium 3000's due soon!)

I kinda tried to prioritize the discontinued/rare frames first, over the still "available to buy" frames where possible.

Apart from the Red Havana's, I'm holding out for better prices on the still available models.

I suppose once I've finished the movie frames, I'll probably try to make a somewhat late start on the premiere/event frames..Lol.

Also, realized I need OP Strathmore & Garrett Leight Canal, but due to the miniscule screentime, I'm in no rush and would probably only buy if it was a total bargain - they are nice frames though!

What remaining movie frames do you need, or have you got the lot?!
