Ok, so I'm going to have "an early best guess" at the brainstorming frames. On the second top right screencap from Godwin, they are not as "flat" on the top as I had originally thought.
I believe the side "oval" may not be an oval, as it is not in the "centre" of the arm, which would be odd...(must be the lighting).
Also, on the first top left screencap, the silver hinges seem to be visible from the "top" of the arms, as per the second pic below.
So, I think they are:
Hugo Boss 0680 glasses - shn Black D28
These are the only frames so far that match the lower frame angularity. The Hugo Boss logo may be on the arms, or may have been removed.
I hope I'm right , because for a change, they look available to buy quite easily
Higher res. screencaps will hopefully confirm 100%

sorry, missed your earlier post about the 2430's. There were originally 3 on ebay, varying in price from $77 for used, to €225 in France. It looks like its only the €225 that is left.....all my other searching came to dead ends.

Persol's ebay, CD's the link. Both have not shipped yet, so can't really 100% confirm either at the moment.
What do you think about the brainstorming frames?....I decided I kinda really like the style of the black HB's and ordered some regardless.
I like to be away before the starting pistol!! Lol

RDJs stylist said he owns over 200+ pairs of glasses a couple years ago (I can only assume the collection has grown), so it’s very possible he’s just wearing what he walked in on set with too. It would explain why some of these are so hard to find.
Also good guess on the Boss frames! I still can’t really tell (I should probably go see the movie again anyway lolol) but they’re definitely in the same spirit as what he’s wearing there. If I can make out any more details next time I go I’ll let you all know!

I kinda self-convinced myself the frames are the HB's, if not, well they're not a bad pair to own anyway, as I got a great deal on them...so dived in head first as usual!! Lol
I put Godwin's 4 images into photoshop and enhanced them a bit before I bought some.
The other thing I did notice was, as they are only available in 55mm, they do actually look like 55's on him, in the 4th screencap.
Most places have them, but after more looking, found 1 or 2 sites did state "discontinued".
Likewise, if I find anymore details I'll keep everyone in loop.

Well.....hhmmm....maybe not that crazy....gulp...I think I'm not the only one on here who's "guilty as charged" lol!! Maybe there's a pill you can take to ease the symptoms!
