Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

Here's a blast from the past, Less Than Zero, 1987!

And these Geo III arrived. All black, which is the wrong color, but at $15 I didn't have think twice!
Guy has 2 more pair if anyone wants black also.
Unboxed, but this pair appeared unused.

The Karen Walker store in New Zealand randomly had this lone black pair of Ali for $55 shipped! I don't think we saw this colorway worn, but they're pretty rare these days.

I think these could be Oliver Peoples Roland OV1189 5145 (gold RX optical frame with custom lenses 47□22 145)...;)

I think the frames are the gold versions as they would also match that gold necklace.

And I think the sweater may be from N. Peal (007 Collection in 100% cashmere) For those if any into the whole look.

Wow!! Thanks!! Yes, nice ID'ing, it looks like it's the N. Peal crew neck sweater in blue wave.

It's so nice to hear from you, haven't heard from you in a while, I thought you'd left us!!
Thank you for the kind words! Lots been going on the past year plus with some family matters. Kind of took most of my time tbh. Hopefully light at end of the tunnel however! Thank you again!

Managed to get some screengrabs of frames from the just released trailer of "Downey's Dream Cars"...

So I think these might be Garrett Leight Broadway (48□23 135) with custom purple lenses...

...And the custom red lensed Prada SPR 25Q making yet another appearance (Also from p.302, p.303 & p.328)...

In this fleeting image, could these be the custom orange lensed matt black Oliver Peoples Dbs again??...

Not really sure on these due to the image quality, they look clear and gold, so need some much better images to ID.
For now, amongst some other suspect frames, I have Cazal Mod.6027 Col.003 in the centre of my suspect board, although this early on in the investigation they could be literally anything!! Lol.

So another contender for the mystery frames which I've moved into the shortlist of prime suspects are the Gucci GG 0200-S 005 (57□14 135) after looking closely at this pic of the sidearm (the image is zoomed so it's not very good)...
20230518_133716.jpg 20230518_135434.jpg

The temple tip tortoise section and small metal circular join detail -(red arrows) and gold arm details where they have caught the light -(blue arrows), seem to match up...
20230518_135407.jpg 20230518_140129.jpg20230518_134731.jpg20230518_135757.jpg

If they are the Gucci GG 0200-S 005, it's hard to tell if they are the stock lenses, or very light purple customs to match the shirt.

The investigation will continue and all frames questioned will remain suspects pending more reliable and clearer video evidence. :) Lol.

Anyway, here's the link to the YouTube video...

Back from vacation and my Oliver Peoples Bernado and Basel had arrived.

The black Bernado have been with the optometrist for ages as they couldn't get the tint just right. I was pretty nervous when I opened the package but to my immense relief and joy they've done an outstanding job of getting the pink/red as close as is fair to expect - particularly when the images I provided were so different depending on light source.

The Basel had a 50% Grey tint. It might be a touch dark but I'm gonna stick with it for now - all in all two excellent results.
