CAD help

Hello to all. I am currently working on upgrading my anakin ROTS FX saber. I I know a place locally that does cnc machining, so i was hoping to have a control box for my ani saber machined. only problem is, i know nothing of CAD, which is needed according to the machinists. that being said, does anyone here know of any freeware CAD programs or can perhaps draw up a rendering of said control box? I can either pay the person who does the CED drawing $$ or for their services give them one of said control boxes once they have been machined.

You can get a .dxf output/export (rather primitive but functionally useful) out of the free software eMachineshop gives out. A bit of a learning curve if you have no experience but just work through the tutorials and for a control box you should be up to snuff in a few hours.
