Building the Enterprise Bridge For less than £10 /$15 THE 'POSTHUMOUS' UPDATE

If anyone can do it, its you Atlanthia.

While this breaks my heart, I understand that you need to move onto something else.

Bruce, I will come back to this but I will do it for the seven inch figures, not the six. I just need a Sulu.... It's a shame they don't do a Sulu/Chekov double pack.......I'd go halves with you!

I can't wait to see this Eagle build. I came in a bit late on the bridge: it'll be nice to be able to see you work from the ground up!
I was just watching an episode of 1999 last night, actually, so the image is fresh in my mind. This should be fun! Good luck!

Thanks, Schwarz! I have already started on the nose cone so, if I can get that sorted and work out how to make the 'Spine' I reckon it will be a breeze...time will tell.....I will set the thread up in the studio scale forum tomorrow, hopefully.

That's the part I was wondering about, how it will be made considering it likely will carry the load of the model...
Unless of course your version has the passenger module attached, so that way the stress will be broadcast away from the spine.
I'll leave you to your devices: you seem to do quite well coming up with solutions!

Oh, Atlanthia, I forgot to mention: if you'd like any high-res Eagle pictures for study purpose, I'll be happy to send them your way!

That'd be awesome! Thanks Schwarz :)

I don't suppose anyone has the blueprints that they could just give me a few measurements from??? I will need all the help I can get on this one.....:wacko

Which Ep did you watch, Bob? I have them all - from YouTube! :lol
I am currently working my way through season two and it is hard work!!!
Season one was a breeze!

I believe I watched 'Death's Other Dominion'. I have season one on DVD, and some of season two. Yeah, season two is rough going...although Catherine Schell is easily one of the most beautuful women I can think of, even she makes it tough to watch! lol

Here's a set of blueprints for the second 44" eagle model. They're in DWF format, so you might need a viewer - this is the one I use:

Good luck!

An Eagle build would be awesome! I can provide some Bluray caps if you need 'em.

All I can say is WOW!!!

Once again I am blown away by the support you guys show me, day after day! Any and all help is most gladly and, rather shamelessly, grabbed at with both hands a grasping!!! Thank you guys sooo much.

I will be starting the new thread tonight in the studio scale models section so, come and check it out!

Darren

Darren, I'm sure what you learned during the build will only make the next one even better. Looking forward to whatever you do next...

Thank you, Ray! I have already started the Eagle build over in the Studio Scale Models section and I should be good to make an update tomorrow evening, all being well.

Fantastic! I hope you'll get back to it. I tried doing one 10 years ago with the 9" figures and eventually got bogged down figuring out how to do those Burke chairs. I could do it today easily...back then I was stumped. Super work on yours!

I have this photo...
Sadlyl the bridge was in a shed that leaked...all was lost but the captain's chair. Still have that. Always thought that if I had the room, I'd do another one. 6' diameter takes a bit of space. I had fantasies of doing a stop motion piece with it.

That is such a shame and, believe me when I tell you that I know EXACTLY how it feels...
it looks like it was a real beauty, too. Thank you for posting, Pyxl
