Ya I know your are formed and not great!!!
I could make another pattern for the SS size
and cast it also!! You have a ways to go before you have to glue them on,
you can do that completely last!

Some of the slow stuff today, working a little evergreen strip
around the vector rings and some channel on the inside. I know the
filming mini doesn't have the channel, but I like the way it looks and
it's a bit more interesting to look at so I went ahead and used it!

Just a little strip work on the engines., some channel
and some rod mixed in with a little flat strip as well.

Chucked these two engines away, and formed two new ones!thumbsup
Now I have all the stabilizers attached and both engines finished,
minus the detailing.I will post some pics of this and the outer bulkhead
soon, thanks for the kind words.

Few more things today......
Although the picture sucks I thinned down the tongues,that meet
in the center of the cut out.

When the two tongues meet it creates a gap on
each side. So I made these two ramps on each
side on the lower hull that fill in the gap.

lenses.Then off to Home-Depot for some PVC.

Some shots of the inserts and the intakes.
Everything is still a loose fit, I will have to fill
the gaps around the engine halves and the inserts.
I glued the engine halves together before finding
the inserts!!:$:thumbsdown

Oh man those flash light lenses are going to be so good. Nice touch M. this is coming together real sweet. Whats that foam you use for filling in ribs to make a solid body then layer in bondo? I need to make a plug for vacuforming the hull on the Falcon. keep up the good work can't waite for this/these to get finished.
