Budget Prop gun display...

Just wanted to show this for peeps that are on a budget, I spent a grand total of 16 dollars, and the peg board was pre-cut and painted white. Got everything at Home Depot and this will lend itself nicely to expanding, or even painting pegboard to match themes, or looks.

It's just a place holder Air Soft.....I never thought about painting it, but that is a great idea for practice. I was all exctied and put whatever I had on the board. The DL-44 is a cheapo rubies I am working on for practice as well, and the M6 is jsut metal base coated, and the PKS still needs the Metal Base Plate attached that I got over on Prop summit..

Just a quick suggestion,

to expand on the matt grey painting idea, You could get yourself some framers backing / mounting board, which is quite cheap. Glue this onto the peg board and then simply punch the correct holes through the board, which would give you a nice clean display.

I used grey framers board on the inside of my bookcases, which not only provides a nice clean backdrop for my display items, but covers up the shelf positioning holes!

Dude, that is a fantastic Idea! The pic is the prototype, and improvents are totally welcome. Was jsut going with the budget board concept.

I am re-doing my office so I can show case my props and mannequins, and when I finalize wall colors I am incorporating your idea into my display boards.
