So this has been an attempt to replicate the newest MCU rendition of Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier. Could you message or email me the information for the artist in Canada who created that arm. It's incredible.

The idea for this project started when I became an RPF member back in July and I owe much of the inspiration (and actual pieces) to RPF member Sundowner. This is the thread that started it all.

To help I am going to break down each step with links for you to reconstruct what I/we have done.
After obtaining the jacket, mask, goggles, and harness/belt from Sundowner I realized that I would need to do some work on the harness. I obtained this online.
Load Bearing Suspenders/Harness
I had to alter it by cutting off the top strap, and then taking the utility "belt" from Sundowner and raising the straps to create Bucky's chest hugging combat harness.

The pouches you see are Uncle Mike's Magazine pouches and Revolver speed load pouches - I obtained them used at a local Army Surplus store, but here are examples of their respective links.

Next is the Belt. Basically it's a combat tactical belt with various pouches. A handcuff pouch, another revolver speed loader, as well as a holstered pistol. These were all obtained at an Army Surplus store. I don't recommend buying a cheap Swat belt online. They are crappy and the pouches are nylon.
The knee pads are a bit more angular than your traditional Swat knee pads. I found these at Home Depot. They are essentially Floor laying knee pads, the cheapest ones at around $10. They are clear so I spray painted them black.
The boots were a bit of a problem. Eventually I settled on a Corcoran tanker Boot which I obtained on Ebay. The straps aren't exact as the movie, but they are 10' tall (crucial) and have the horizontal support strap. Eventually I plan on punching out eyelet holes (there are flaps to accommodate this) and lacing the boots. Customizing to follow.

The gloves are simply Lambskin Fingerless Biker Gloves. Specifically these:

The guns. The holstered gun is just an Airsoft gun I picked up, didn't bother getting too complicated with that one. The silver ones pictured in the Movie stills have been identified as an COP 357 Magnum and a SIG-Sauer P220 series pistol. The pistol I am using is close to the latter. Again obtained at an Army Surplus store, it is a 1911 style Airsoft. I will include more info about it later put it's not a perfect match so... yeah.
The grenade launcher is obviously very important and I owe a tremendous shout out to RPF member Sir Angus for helping me to identify the launcher. It is a modified FN Mk13. This is the one I ended up obtaining showed in the pics.

There are two versions of Bucky displayed in the pics - MCU version (with face mask and goggles) - as well as a traditional comic Bucky mask. The comic mask I use was obtained as Walmart from a generic "Machine Man" Iron man knock of costume from Mexico. I cut out the eyes to make it fit my face better. It's not perfect, but worked in a pinch. I will be designing a custom made leather one.
Now the arm. The arm design was commissioned by a man from Canada name Mark whom I came in contact with by a recommendation from RPF member ironman42. THANK YOU ironman42! The process that Mark used is pretty unique and cutting edge and I can safely say that I have never seen anything like it.
I can provide Mark's email addy for people interested in commissions... he will be providing me with build info which I will share here. I am commissioning him for an MCU accurate arm next! Build progress will be displayed here as well as in a new thread.
here is some pics of the arm by itself:

As you can see, it's glued to a compression shirt, and the metal fabric flaps tuck into the jacket. As far as the hand goes, I have been just using spray paint, which is extremely inconvenient and messy :/
I will be be designing a metal glove alternative and posting details here. Suggestions welcome.
Additions to the costume are as follows:
I eventually want the the other pistol.
I need a left handed gun holster (surprisingly difficult for me to find.)
I want to rock the faceless holsters as seen in the production stills. I have had trouble finding them. Suggestions welcome.
The Knife.

It's a Gerber MkII.
I plan on adding the spare grenade pouch pictured.
The Skorpion Machine pistol.

The jacket and the harness will need to be completely redone to reflect this. AHHH the perils of cosplay!
I hope you enjoyed this costume and journey as much as I have. Here are some resource links floating around out there which should prove invaluable to those interested in replicating this costume.
