There was a cheap White Krups on etsy yesterday but I think it's been sold x)

Roland thanks for all those awesome screen grabs!! i knew about the train car not having the logos and when doc even goes to jump the top cover is missing! LOL

I never noticed the fusion logo missing though in that first pic!! I'm trying to place that scene in guessing that's the shoe changing scene with the delorean in the ally way?

and this is what haunts me the most it also looks like the seam between the lid and kurps is filled and smoothed. which is the main thing I love about the DS

but mentally in my head I would want a kurps just for bragging rights " yeah this is a old coffee grinder they used" when explaining to friends when asked " Danny what the hell is that?!"

That's my Mr Fusion out of a Krups, I believe it is Roland's logo that I had printed on water slide decals. Mattblack applied it for me and did the paint job for it as I suck at painting plastic

Nope and the reason being that I wouldn't have space for it X) well not in my cabinet...

I've had someone model up the Krups grinder so it could be 3d printed. It's pretty difficult to print, though it could be me since I am new to printing. I can post the files up if anyone is interested?

I guess printing this coffee grinder is more expensive than buying a real one.

Well, it probably is at scale. I got a mini Mr. Fusion from the secret santa so I wanted to be able to print one of these at a smaller scale. If you've already absorbed the cost of the 3D printer then the overall cost to print is pretty small. I was using a monoprice printer but it didn't have a heated plate and some of my models began to warp when they were cooling down.

The base model files from xrobots is excellent quality and printed really really well.

You can't; His model files only include the base and the middle piece. That's why I had someone model the top.

Nice job. Is there a "standard" for whether the paint is supposed to be gloss, semi-gloss or dull? The native Krups is glossy but the prop builds here appear to less glossy -- at least from the photos.
