BTTF - Back to the Future Merchandise (Toys, Models, Figures, Statues)

Oh boy, that DeLorean is steeper than I expected. I got the Egg Attack flying Iron man for $170 and I thought that was crazy. Might need to sleep on this one!

Yeah, it is pretty steep. What I like about Big Bad Toy Store is they don't charge your credit car until it ships, and they are not expecting it to ship until 3rd quarter of 2016. You can always preorder with them, and cancel later if you need to before it ships and you won't be charged.

Good point!

I really want the Hoverboard set, your link is the only place I've seen any sign of them, especially as I'm in UK, I see they ship international, but I don't know if it's worth waiting to see if these make it over here. Anyway, thanks for the link!!

They handed out this limited edition GANG JAILED version of the USA TODAY newspapers at the We're going back event yesterday. Limited to only 1000 copies.

Thats awesome! I was going nuts yesterday driving all over town trying to find that. I thought there was someone one step ahead of me buying out all the alternate versions.

that is awesome!! i just quickly checked ebay they seem to not hit it yet, i wonder how much they are going to go for?

You may not see a lot of these. Out of the 700 people I saw get these at the event, at least half of them had no idea that these were collectible and just folded them or crushed them like a regular newspaper. Since these were limited to about 1000 prints, I think only about 500 of these will be in decent condition.

Ugh :facepalm That must have been horrible to witness. What were they thinking?! I'm sure someone, or a group of people, went through a lot of trouble to have those copies available at the event.

It was. They grabbed them and were like "oh thanks" and them crumpled them up with their other items in hand. There were SO many other people there that wanted these but they had to have the WGB bracelet to get one and it was ONLY 1 per person.

sick to my stomach... what a shame :(

today i did some volunteering with the church, the church is a couple towns over and near our closest mall. i went in to check to see if they had the BTTF ultimate visual guide, they had 1 so i picked it up. on the way home i hit up my comic book store, that was a expensive trip, a bunch of star wars issues came out, along with secret wars, but the best news was the manager there held all these different covers of BTTF for me!!!

i have yet to read the comics, but im super excited over them being a huge comic nerd. one thing that was kinda a let down honestly was the visual guide... it was advertised online that it documented the time machine restoration and there isn't a single thing about it in here?! i was hoping to have detailed pictures of the time machine parts and maybe official names for them... nothing?

there is allot of paper props inside, but they are all scaled down and not accurate at all, but that really doesnt bother me, i was hoping to see more delorean stuff and actually prop stuff, watches, bottles, hats, shoes.. there's really nothing in the book with those details, i just don't get it... i did how ever find one picture very confusing, and makes me believe there is 1 more delorean they purchased for filming, i have always said i thought there was 1 more, i now have 2 photos that make me believe this..

i guess i went into this thinking it was like the star wars costume book that came out last year which i think is absolutely amazing...

i just wanted to give alittle heads up to any viewers, before dropping 50 bucks on this book, i would take it out of the plastic casing in store and view it over before purchase... and a expensive purchase at that...

I also picked up the visual guide book. I, too, was hoping for more information on props, especially the DeLorean. The paper props inside the book were mostly disappointing. The only item I really liked was the Jaws 19 poster, and maybe the lenticular family photo. It's shouldn't have been difficult to get the correct size envelope and paper for the Lou's Café letter; same issue with the flux capacitor drawing, Western Union letters, and mostly everything else. I laughed when I saw the Match Made in Space "book cover". They all could have been the correct size and fit inside the book fine. I'm still scratching my head about the Blast from the Past receipt. What in the world...? Maybe the printer settings were just off :confused

the match made in space book cover?! i don't believe mine has that! the blast from the past made me laugh though its so odd from the on screen version lol

i began reading it last night, I'm only 6-7 pages in but i haven't learned anything new yet (not to sound pig headed) the first couple pages were the history of both bobs, which is cool and all but i wanted to know more visually about the film.. once i have some down time I'm going to pick it up again, it has to get better. would i buy this again.. probably not.. i should have just taken cell phone pics of the couple of new delorean pictures they show

baaah! i hate being negative it will get better! LOL

Better not know and better not witness it. With so many people wanting so much that item (and would take care of it like a real prop) it's too bad to know that so many papers ended up in people that don't give it the real value
Incredible!
