Hand-drawn Ron Cobb exterior DeLorean time machine concept art from Robert Zemeckis' Back to the Future. Rendered by Ron Cobb, who served as the film's DeLorean time travel consultant, illustrations such as this were among the earliest designs for Doc Brown's (Christopher Lloyd) stylish time machine.

Drawn with graphite and black ink on one-sided grid paper, this illustration depicts the left side of the car as well as "Section A - A" of the back half. It is labeled "Back to the Future" and "The DeLorean Time Machine" in graphite with Cobb's signature, the date "'84," and scales included on the bottom right. This lot exhibits creasing and fold lines, as well as minor discoloration on the edges. Dimensions: 24" x 18" (61 cm x 45.75 cm)
