I got this today and was wondering if anyone has any pics of the original gun for the original BSG.

I want to weather it and make it a bit more accurate.

Don't know if it helps or not; I painted mine based off of pics of blasters that either belonged to Rich coyle or Chris Pappas... I don't remember exactly, but I do recall that one or the other were original paint schemes...

You could try and PM Rich and find out; he's a member here, albeit I haven't seen a new post from him lately...

Here's mine, sorry for the blurry pics, someone messed with my cam settings...

Some of the right side details I didn't finish painting, so don't go by that...

As far as weathering Franz, just do a few quick-draws if you have a holster.

Here is what I was painting my models as.

I can not remember the details how we came up with this, I was doing these from the mid 80s. I believe I was shown a real blaster...

My model was believed to have come from a Studio original prop and thus is cruder in finish.
