BSG New Series Flightsuit Pattern Request

Hey everyone I am interested in making a flightsuit jacket,
From the New Battlestar Galactica series,
Like the one on this site

I know its a jumpsuit, but I was more interested in making somethingthat could be worn on a regular basis, and not just for Cons,

I have been looking for patterns for the jumpsuit, but I havent come accross anything, and I have been looking for a pattern for a similiar styled jacket to modify, but no luck either,
And I am not really looking to make it out of the right material as my wallet is hurting,
So just a pattern would be best,

Any help would be most appreciated,

I'm not sure if there are patterns available, but if you do decide to buy a ready made flightsuit instead to mod, don't got for that Cosplaystation one. I know someone who actually bought it and regretted the purchase.

I would suggest getting the Costumebase one instead. They're easier on the wallet compared to the real deal Sommers and with some work, can look quite decent. You can check out the mods I did to mine here: http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=64177

I don't belive there have been any patterns released by the two people I know who have done them. There are a few templates out for some of the pockets and such, but otherwise your can more or less tear apart a flightsuit to get a patter to start with.

Oh and the sommers fabric some thing you do not want to wear at all, its hot, hot stuff. There is a reason some call it the Flightsuit weightloss program.

I never had a sticking problem. Undrer Armor is your friend along with wearing a t shirt or long sleve shirt (they had them on the show). GAP makes a light tshirt that is an almost perfect color, get a few and have the sleves taken off one or two and leave the sleves on the others.
