BSG- Blood and Chrome - frakking A

Everyone needs to remember that its about 40 years before BSG so things will have changed. Didn't they mention at the beginning of BSG that it was stripped out and changed around to convert it to a museum(I'm sure they mentioned a giftshop).

True, but a room like the CIC doesn't go from a big size and a different layout to a small one without some sort of explanation.

inthe final episode (or was it the one before that) where they were fighting the cylons in the CIC and Tyrol offed Tory when he figured out she killed Cally and Brother Cavil did himself in the CIC seemed bigger and multileveled in that scene. I'll have to go back and look at it.
But perhaps as the old ship was scaled back in mission the CIC was reconfigured and made smaller because of the newer Mercury Class Battlestars like the Pegasus.

I watched the first episode and it's pretty good. I'm going to wait to watch it on SyFy since it's out in Feb. I thought the CGI in the Galactica hangar looked bad though. Everyone hated the CGI in the Prequels, but it looked way better than that.

the hanger was a little rough but if you allow yourself to watch the 2nd episode you will be pleasantly surprised... really great work in the second chapter.

I merely am not going to make many comments in regards to whats good and whats bad....I just am so glad that they are making more BSG episodes ,to enjoy , I have always loved that show and very excited that it is not a dead issue ,and they are keeping BSG going , so as a fan , I cant wait too see it with ultimate enthusiasm ......Yeah !!!!! Bring it on SYFY.........HELL YEAH....

Not exactly related to BSG B&C, but if any of you fans out there are also gamers, there is a BSG freespace 2 mod called Diaspora. I haven't played it yet since having a child takes up most of my time these days, but if you eveer wanted to fly a Viper, I imagine that is the best option (unless you are a Navy/Air Force pilot in which case you might get closer to the real feel) :)

Diaspora - Freeware Battlestar Galactica Game

Yeah, I knew of it a long time ago. I lost track of its progression a while ago.

Glad BSG is on the air in any form.
Cool new ships - absolutely love the older style Raptor and Cylon Riders. Theyre so much more badazz looking!

So,

That article says there are ten segments that will air over the next 4 weeks.

Does that mean we are getting 2 episodes a week? I thought I read that
this was running until Janurary. Which is correct?

It started out with 2. I think I read they will release 2 from here on out and having it finished Nov. 30th.

Just watched the first two. On the one hand TEH AWSUM!!!! Some truly kickass effects work there, apart from the fact that I never once (well, apart from the shower and the shuttle, which, was that just the same set redressed?!) felt that any of the sets were practical, but oh well.
On the other hand...it's only 20 minutes so far, but a little worried that there's been no real moral question which is supposed to drive this show. BSG had the question of Cylon/Human hatred, the question of what, if anything, makes Cylons different from humans. Caprica had a whole smorgasborg of moral questions which, while not to everyone's taste, gave it a reason for existing. So far...B&C doesn't ask any questions, and seems to be more interested in blowing **** up.

Eick teased that a big turning point in the new series is going to happen when –spoiler alert! —

Adama is betrayed by the woman he loves. Our guess is we probably already met her (if you’ve seen the episodes, you know who we’re talking about), but Eick said this event will spur Adama to his hatred of the Cylons and a reevaluation of his relationships.

“Where did that [hatred of Cylons in BSG] come from? Was it because he was a prisoner of war? Was it because involved in some horrible conflict? He wants to incinerate them, but why? The more I thought about it, the more I came up with the answer I thought was emotionally driven,” he said. “For me, it seemed like maybe the most interesting answer was because of a broken heart, and that came from a very personal place where he’d been explained by someone he loved.

Eick added, “Adama will come to learn that, through the betrayal that he experiences from the one that he loves, he learns that a more reliable and trustworthy relationship is with his partner Coker. … Through this experience, the audience of Battlestar might [decide] that that’s why Edward James Olmos’ character in Battlestar Galactica has this relationship with Colonel Tigh.”
