The latest prototype helper boards are in. Still need to de-sprue and assemble... and also the vendor I ordered switches from sent the wrong post length. Buuut they fit on the pads...

Awesome work on the helper board and also just wanted to say I love your crystal chamber design! How will this be offered when it's finished and any idea roughly how much you'll be looking to sell one for? Will it come with everything required like the crystal and pogo pins? Is there also a matching chassis being developed to tie in with this along with the emitter connection?
The helper board is intended to be included in the main kit. The chamber will be sold separately (price not determine yet but won't be insanely pricey)... yes we are developing a full über level chassis to go along with the chamber.
pogo pin connectors will not come with it as TCSS, KR and Shtok already sell wonderful connectors and they are going to be compatible with the design.

no worries! When it is ready there will be a separate interest / run posting for it. Specifically because it is also expected to fit Anakin Starkiller's hero as well. (To be confirmed but AS and we had initial collaboration and I believe he matched our threading and grenade cavity to make it work).
It's been a while since we've updated everyone so I wanted to provide one as we have a bit of news.
We have finalized the factory contract for this run. We can confirm that all three windvane materials WILL be included in the kit. Copper, bronze and aluminum.
we can confirm we ARE using 7075 aluminum (added strength).
I can confirm the prototype IS being fabricated and will be shipped directly to me for engineering verification. I will verify the control box tolerances for proper switch function, blade socket tolerances for blade fit, and do a dimensional verification of every dimension.
I will also ensure the various small nuances are all covered properly.
the static emitter plate will have the tiny blemish that we now believe to be a slotted screw that is buffed down. End users can in fact drill this location and install a screw if they so desire But the kit will simply have a tiny divot.
ETA of prototype completion is 10 business days at this point and then shipping time to me for verification before we initiate full production.

im at work and didn't have time to read this whole thread yet (10 min and im back to teaching) soooo...
did i miss this run? what is the website this will be going up on?
is it going to be comiccon/crystal focus 6 style "bang on F5 and pray" situation when it goes up?
i NEEEEED this..... my old korbanth is uh... just a placeholder. so I've been looking for an accurate hero for quite a while. this is a perfect example, especially since i actually saw the MoM saber on display when that show was on tour here in San Diego. i still have a pic i snapped on a disposable camera somewhere...

You have not missed anything yet. We're trying to avoid the bang on F5 situation. This is not a limited run. Well, it is, but if response is overwhelming and we sell out we may very well do multiple runs. We have a fair number coming in this first round though.
we're discussing whether we want a formal signup list or whether it will just go up in the store.

Very interested in this!! Especially that crystal chamber( which looks amazing). It will look awesome in my AS Hero and im sure it will look equally awesome in your finished product. Love all the options you have included in this. Great work!!
We certainly could yes, but the dimensions are designed specifically for our hilt. I don't know that it would fit other boxes.
what are you looking for a helper board for?
if you are referring to the clamp cards, yes BRRogers has a run thread for those separately.
If you are referring to the yet-to-be-finished reveal board, that is yet to be determined but it may be available separately as well depending.
