" Few more pics from the con yesterday. Things seemed to go allot smoother this time around, as I feel I was more prepared. What still amazes me is how much of a different person I am in costume. I can have everything on, but once the head goes on it's like I become "meaner" and way more aggressive than I am in real life. I am not the kind of guy to walk up to stranger and start talking (very shy), but put me in this and there is no fear lol. Of course, I love the attention he gets... makes me feel like a "super star" lol More pics once I get them all sorted out!"

I very much appreciate the kind words.  I'm trying to change some things around schedule wise so I can make it down to DC at least on Saturday.  Still not sure, but I so badly want to meet up with some guys and check out the scene.  If I do make it down, I would be by myself, but I'm sure there will be others there to help out.  Thanks again, it means allot!

The suit sure does make me a much more out going person, I'm quite shy and introverted. But  when I put that mask on my Pred self comes out and it is is my true self

Sick work man. Im making my own suit out of a full body spandex, attaching the muscles then covering it with strechy fabrick latex paint and walla pred skin. But yours is spot on perfect...hope mine looks half as good.

Appreciate it.  It was definitely a labor of love, although there were moments when I was ready to tose it on the burn pile.  I am very happy with the way it is now, (I've made a few changes and upgraded a few things) and call it a success.  Not too terribly bad for my first costume build.  Thanks again, it means allot!

Attended Ashville Comic Expo this past weekend and thought I would post some pics.  I knew before hand that I was going to get a chance to finally meet Steve (Bonzrus), but was pleasantly surprised when another Pred and Lair member (Grothloch) showed up.  It was a blast hunting together, and the looks on peoples faces when seeing a couple of Predators walking around was beyond priceless!  My kids dressed for it too, and it was my daughters first convention in costume (Link).  I was blown away at how many people wanted her picture, and how great it was to get some pics with both of them.

Good to meet your family as well. All the costumes looked fabulous my friend! Say hi to your wife and kids for me. I was thrilled to finally get to meet someone in a pred suit. You did a remarkable job on it. Here is the photo your wife took on my phone.

I am glad everything worked out with the kids and that they had a good time. Sorry the weather couldn't have been better.. I too wish I could have spent more time with you there....dern groceries. Maybe next time I can come your way.

Thanks for posting that pic Steve, it turned out great!  If you're thinking about heading my way, Fanboy Expo runs from May 31st through June 2nd.  It's the same dates as it was last year, and I know you had some stuff going on, but I would love to have you show up and check out the con.  They keep saying on FB and their web site it's going to be bigger and better than ever.  They already booked it in a bigger venue, so I guess they must have some things already in the works.

I'm glad you enjoyed my thread.  One of the reasons I started it was in the hopes that it could be helpful to someone someday.  I appreciate the kind words.  One of the biggest things that really helped me was all the research I did... almost a years worth.  You can never have enough info.  I took lots of notes and bookmarked all kinds of stuff, and I still refer to them today.
