I've spent most of the week doing repairs.  The hands ended up being the worst, and the foam armor needs allot of TLC.  I think a big part of it was them making me get back out and dance.  I can tell you one thing, next thing I do is going to be ridding myself of any/all foam on it...it just doesn't hold up.  Thanks for the kind words!

That is funny you guys are talking about red hair. I was fairly redheaded and freckled as a kid. A lot of grey and brown now and lots of skin cancer issues. I think red haired people must be creative. I have a fact for you all. Only 5% of the population of earth has red hair. I'm just sayin.

Thanks everyone, it's greatly appreciated.  I know exactly what you are talking about Jeff...the sun and I do not get along.  I am, however, proud to be one of those 5%  !  I'm hoping to get more pics this weekend at the convention, and will post more as i get them.  One of the local smaller newspapers here is wanting to do a story/interview as a local interest piece, we'll see how that goes lol.

Finally got around to adding some quills.  100+...it was a PITA for sure, but will hopefully give me an edge at tomorrows costume contest.

Thanks Steve.  Alas, it wasn't enough for me to win over... not sure how to put this... a rather "amateurish" version of the original Shredder (TMNT).  Still had an awesome time with the family, and made some new contacts.  I will never get over the looks on peoples faces when you first walk into a convention... priceless!  I'll post more pics once I get them sorted and edited.

Few more pics from the con yesterday.  Things seemed to go allot smoother this time around, as I feel I was more prepared.  What still amazes me is how much of a different person I am in costume.  I can have everything on, but once the head goes on it's like I become "meaner" and way more aggressive than I am in real life.  I am not the kind of guy to walk up to stranger and start talking (very shy), but put me in this and there is no fear lol.  Of course, I love the attention he gets... makes me feel like a "super star" lol  More pics once I get them all sorted out!
